Kamran made us feel so welcome with the most warm & friendly & efficient assistance above & beyond everytime we needed it. Other hotel personnel were very helpful as well. The location is very convenient to the Earl's Court underground which was very important. Room was larger than expected, nice surprise. There was occasional street noice at night but this wasn't an issue for us.

I stayed NOv 2012. Very good location - very central, 5 mins or less walk from tube station; nice personnel, the hotel itself is not new and not stylish at all but clean and nice personnel. the only thing that created some discomfort was shabby linen, shabby yet clean; and vintage elevator with heavy metal doors- the doors had an automatic closing device - it was personal legerity challenge to pull luggage into the elevator trying to keep that heavy vintage door open at teh same time. In overall, value for money due to location first of all, quietness, cleaness, friendly personnel

Hotel is renovated, rooms are clean and tidy, not spacious, but appropriate; the bathroom on the top floor, under the roof (with slanting ceiling), is minuscule, with only a shower (the curtain is useless as water flows everywhere when your shower in the 50x50cm space); the toilet is too close to the wall, so you cannot sit properly on it, and the washbasin is tiny with even a tinier tap: very impractical to use. Doors with hard spring hinges are also very impractical. Reception desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The girls serving breakfast are very slow, there is never enough baguette and it takes them forever to refill. Breakfast includes coffee and tea, apple juice and orange juice, baguette and toast, butter and jam, soft creamy cheese, and that's it. Location is excellent, with stores, cafes, pubs, the Earls Court tube station and bus stations just around the corner. It is also close to easyjet bus droppoff/pickup point.

The hotel has been renovated and was very clean, the breakfast was fine, the beds were good but the bath was a bit primitive, the shower was just a curtain, so that after flooding the whole tiny bath was flooded. Otherwise fine, busy street on Saturday night

The hotel is conveniently located, close to the metro station on the Piccadilly Line, which allows direct access to Heathrow airport or railway station King's Cross. Rooms are small but quite clean and comfortable. But the bathroom is very, very small. Shower has a drain in the floor, and curtain sticks to the body until you wash. Perhaps because of poor waterproofing we were flooded by the neighbours above. Washbasin is also very small. There is only one chair in a double room. A tiny elevator maximum for 2 persons or 1 person with luggage. Monotonous breakfast, only cereals, toasts, yogurt, beverages. For breakfast extra (that includes eggs) you have to pay 5 pounds. I think it would be nice to add to continental breakfast at least the meat and cheese products.

We are very satisfied with our accommodation in a double room 5.-10. April 2012. The room was larger than we expected, clean and modernized, and the staff very friendly. The breakfast room in the basement is small and serves both continental (includes) and English (extra fee) breakfast. The internet connection in the basement is equipped with a free printing possibility. However, there was some small deficits the staff could improve: The bed easily glides along the floor because its legs are wheeled. The light of the spots beside the bed is quite weak - so it is difficult to read in the bed after the sunset. And we did'nt find any BBC news channels in TV.

A real first price win, with excellent value for money and a real nice, beautiful and quite hotel only seconds from the tube station (Earl´s court) away. We have been upgraded into a cozy suite with a bedroom, a very nice living room with a kitchenett and a perfecly clean and modern bathroom. The service was courteous and very friendly. The breakfast was really good in a nicely decorated breakfast room (it is a bit small and people had to wait for few minutes during rush hour to get a table) in the basement and staff has been very attentive. The only very small things that we would like to mention (if to be at all) are the stairs to the upper floors that are very steep and might be difficult to walk on for elderly people and with heavy luggage. We would definitly recommend this hotel and book it again for our next stay in London.

Loads of restaurants in the area, our favorite in an alley across from the Kings Arms pub, The Little French Restaurant. Next to that, a wonderful little wine bar and a little further towards the underground station, a lovely Thai restaurant.

Very nice stay. I have stayed at this hotel three times before and it was always very nice. Very close (half block) to underground transportation. Very competent and friendly staff. Good full English breakfast (extra cost) and great back yard area where you can sit outside. Good internet access. The price has gone up a lot in the last two years but isn't too bad compared to other similar places.

TheAmsterdamlookedexcellentonthewebsitebut theroomwhichwe wereprovidedwas, although clean very poorly decorated with the carpets being threadbare. It was November, the heating was not switched on and we were only provided with a sheet and thin beadspread. There was also only enough water for one shower and the room was for a family of four. The hotel was also stated as non smoking but, the room we were allocated stank of cigarettes (furniture included) and when we brought this to the attention of the staff we were handed a cheap tin of air freshener to resolve the problem. I can only assume that the rooms shown on the website were for advertising purposes only, as our room bore no resemblance whatsoever to those.

This was the last place I stayed during a two-week trip through England, Wales & Ireland, and it was easily one of the nicest. As a single traveler, I'd sometimes found myself in what seemed to have once been a maid's cell in the attic. Here, I was stunned to get a lofted suite on the ground floor. To me, it felt like a cathedral. And the room looked almost brand-new as well. Mind you, they appeared to be doing renovations right outside my door, judging by the plastic on the floor, and late at night, I could hear the desk clerks chatting far too well. And the breakfast was ... okay, I suppose. But overall, those are quibbles. The rooms are comfortable, the location is great, the garden out back is a nice touch, and the staff is friendly. I'd definitely stay there again.

Amsterdam attracted our interest due to it's lower end pricing. Whilst it was a little further away from Central London, it was extremely close to the rail system and had all local amenities close by. The rooms were very clean and had all the facilities we needed as a family of four. Beds were comfortable and the only drawback was that the room was very warm and there was unfortunately little we could do to change that. The staff were very courteous and helpful and I would recommend the Amsterdam to the individual traveller or small families.

The management and employees were very helpful and competent, as well as friendly and very helpful with luggage. The rooms were furnished with a variety of pillows and linens were very adequate; facilities for making tea were provided and appreciated. Internet assess was available free of charge. Breakfast was available in a charming dining area. Staff was exceptional. The rooms were not air-conditioned, which could be a problem in summer. Our bath was tiny, but spotless and adequate. The noise level on the street side is higher. We all enjoyed our stay at the Amsterdam and would use it again.

We stayed in the "Amsterdam" for two nights. There was a lot of space in the room and it was nice decorated and furnished. The bathroom was a little bit small, but everything was very clean.Nearby the hotel there are a lot of pubs and some restaurants. The tube-station (earls court) is just around the corner. For a three-star the quality is excellent for a reasonable price in London.

The rooms are very tiny; the bathroom has a small sink and a shower is composed of a water hose and a hole to drain the water. Although, the rooms are supposed to be non-smoking, if a person in an adjacent room smokes, your room gets all the second hand smoke. Do not expect to get checked in before 12:30, so don't schedule your plane for an early arrival because you will be exhausted with no place to stay. Although the breakfasts are included, you only get toast and canned fruit. I would recommend paying a little bit more and get a more descent hotel stay.
