CHECK AVAILABILITY
The Alhambra is an affordable London Kings Cross hotel. It is just across the road from 2 of the city's largest train stations, London King's Cross and St Pancras International, both of which have excellent links to all of London's major airports: Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, and Stansted. Easy to reach, the hotel is also in a strategic location for getting around the city, as it is right next to the London Underground. However, if you decide to walk, then the British Museum, Covent Garden, Soho, Oxford Street, and even Trafalgar Square are not too far away on foot.

This budget London St Pancras hotel makes a savvy place to stay, if you want to be based in the heart of Central London without breaking the bank. All the staff at this family-run hotel are very helpful and speak most of the major European languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French. Also, you are sure to appreciate the hotel's filling full English breakfast if you have a full day ahead.

Guests staying at the Alhambra will find plenty of information on what to do and see around London in the hotel's reception area, which is open 24 hours a day. A free Wi-Fi hotspot also allows those with a laptop to check emails and chat online to their heart's content.

Please note that this hotel does not permit pets or service animals.

The room was very tiny but clean. Our location was just perfect ( across Pancrass station). And we had a lovely breakfast.

The hotel is somewhat cramped, with no lift and very narrow staircases. The breakfast room is elbow to elbow. Though checkout is stated as at 11:00. The maid came in to service our room at 10:30, even though we were still in it. Fortunately not in flagrante delecto. The hotel is very well placed for access to St Pancras and King's Cross, which is why we chose it. As such it suited our purpose. However, because of the lack of a lift, we wouldn't use it again. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The room and the bathroom were very small but clean and quiet. The price was rather high. The location was perfect because next day the appointment for the tour in Great-Britain was at St. Pancras station.

Only half a block from major transportation. Located on side street with little traffic - very quiet. Section I stayed in was not equipped with an elevator.

As before, very professional service. Room was quite small but served our purposes as we were only staying for one night. In my opinion, the Alhambra's best feature is its location, five minutes' walk from Kings Cross St. Pancras and 10 minutes' walk from Euston, so you can travel within London very quickly and easily.

The hotel is perfectly located right near Kings Cross/St. Pancras station - which if you are coming/leaving London at any "busy" time you don't have to lug your bags all over the place. Plus the metro is right there. Breakfast was great- hot and tasty. It does get packed in there very quickly and we found the earlier we went the easier it was for us to get a table for 4. The hotel was clean - but really small. We had 2 separate rooms, in one of the buildings across from the mail hotel. One room on the main floor, which was a little more spacious and actually pretty average size. And one on the lower level, which was tiny so you definitely want to ask for one on a floor above. Given the area it was in, it was not always quiet, but really that was more due to outside noise, and the doors slamming shut when people came into the hotel. Because of the proximity to the metro, that would really be the only reason I would stay there again.

Very good location to visit London: close to stations for main airports and main tube lines. But a little expensive for the quality, rooms (esp. bathroom) are really small.

In central London hotel rooms at the lower end of the market are always tiny and the price high for what you get. Within that, this hotel provides good value for money. English or continental breakfast is included in the price and is a good deal. Location is outstanding for King's Cross/St. Pancras stations, or the British Library (in my case). This was my 2nd stay here and I would happily stay again.

Good value for the money. The staff was serviceminded and nice to talk to. Small but clean rooms. Nice English breakfast. Good location, very close St Pancras station and Kings cross. Easy to find with help from directions from the hotel. We will come back!

The map showing how to get to the hotel from Kings Cross Station was confusing. It lacked street names and just about everything else. Even locals could not help us. We wandered around for at least 45 minutes before finally finding it. I think that clearer directions are needed. Overall the stay was good. The free breakfast was decent and it was in a great location right by a major train station. I would stay again. :)

Our room was on the ground floor opposite the main hotel and next to the front door, so we had some noise of people going in and out and from the room upstairs, particularly from the plumbing and waste systems. The road was quiet, though, despite being very close to Euston Road, one of the busiest roads in London. The room was smallish but ok for us. The bathroom was tiny (shower and toilet only) and the washbasin was in the room rather than in the bathroom. The bedlinen was clean and crisp, but I have trouble sleeping under blankets and wish I had brought a duvet with me. I did sleep ok but rather fitfully - perhaps that is me rather than the room. Breakfast was across the road in the main hotel and we had to queue for about 15 minutes on a Sunday morning for a table. Service and food were good when we sat down and they even had porridge as well as the usual full english and continental breakfasts. One issue was that we only wanted to stay one night but were told that wasn't possible at weekends. The venere.com website, however, allowed us to book only one night so we were happy with that. Overall, for a central London hotel with breakfast for under £100 it was quite acceptable.
