ABC Hyde Park Hotel - London

Easily accessible from the tube station, the only thing we had a hard time with was the wifi on the last floor, but it worked elsewhere... otherwise, the staff was lovely, breakfast included was great. There's no double window pane and the noise and cold come from there, but otherwise, great price and really comfortable. No elevator, beware elderly people with big suitcases!

The price is still very expensive for the quality received. The hotel is located on a steet where you can find thousands of other hotels just next door.. so my suggestion book only the 1 night there or next door and then check the other hotels rooms of the street. I rate the room at 45/50 pounds/night. Parking for the car was very good to have, great point. Breakfast is boring and made with cheap products (fine if you stay one night), super small rooms with super small beds, small stains on the sheets. Central location close to hyde park, paddington station and oxford street (10 min walking).

very friendly staff! cistern or something else could be heard very loudly (traffic on the street as well) - however with our earplugs in we had a very good sleep ;-) additionally very comfortable beds (not too soft and not too hard) no carpets in the rooms but wooden floors which definitely is an advantage hotel is very close to public transports, pubs&bars, shops, restaurants and even hyde park is in walking distance.

The Hotel is nice and clean. It was perfectly described on the map and easy to find, the location is perfect, only 5 min from Paddington tube station. The rooms are tidy, clean and equipped with sky TV, facilities to make tea and a hair dryer. The beds are very comfortable. However, the rooms are quite small, but I think that is normal in London and for that price, but I have to say, it was definitely not too small for a double room. I definitely would recommend it for couples.

For the money, it was all right. Room too small, but ok for the price paid. Breadfast basic and ok for price paid. Good location.

Tiny room, in basement (damp smell), no lift - poor experience.

Budget hotel but very good. Clean rooms at affordable price are very difficult to find in London. Rooms are little but you all you need is a clean place to sleep! Beware of the rooms on the street because there is a lot of traffic noise even during the night. Definitely I will return.

For a weekend break this is a great hotel. Great location and clean room. Great value for the price.

The rom in the basement was cold, and "Window" to the fuelsystem, but is was very clean and fresh, but veeery tiny. It should not be offered to a customer. Anyway I got another room the day after. The hotel was very clean!

It is a modest hotel, clean, well located. The breakfast is very poor. I had to sleep in a room at the hotel entrance, and there was much noise last night made me change rooms. I recommend it, but it has great pretensions. As I understand the hotels in London are not very good, this is not bad.

My room was tiny, but very clean with new furnishings and bathroom. It needed a bench or someplace to put the suitcase besides the floor. There is no elevator. Bedside lights would be helpful.

El hotel esta muy bien, fui con mi novia y la verdad es que nos gusto. Los inconvenientes que presenta es lo estrecho que es, las habitaciones son pequeñas, pero para dos son suficietes. Los empleados nos atendieron muy bien y la zona donde esta es muy tranquila, a mitad de camino entre dos estaciones de metro. Si te bajas en Marble Arch y la subes para ir a la calle iras por una calle llena de bares arabes, por lo que si te gusta encontraras de todo. Por la noche no se oia ningun ruido, ni de fuera (si bajas la ventana) ni de dentro del hotel. Lo peor es la presion del agua, que por las mañanas era casi nula... pero nos gusto mucho

Stayed for 2 nights in july 2009. Experienced a problem with the TV sat receiving and the receptionist duly solved it. Decent breakfast, and 5 minutes away walk from Paddington station.
