Smart looking hotel with helpful staff. Good bathroom We had a room at the back that was a bit noisy on the weekend. Would spend extra for larger room at the front next time. Logrono is a great base in La Rioja. The tapas scene is very lively and more old school than say San Sebastian. The locals are out enjoying the bars especially on the weekends. A number of places did just 1 item which we loved.

Marques de Vallejo is in a good location, in the center of town. To get to some of the truly outstanding wineries, however, one must rent a car and drive to some of the small towns surrounding the city. As for the hotel, the beds were comfortable and the room was a good size for two people. The breakfast offered is expensive and not worth it (it is more of an American breakfast than a Spanish breakfast), so be sure to check out one of the coffee shops in the neighborhood. The WiFi is of a good speed and unfortunately, there is no fitness center.
