Unfortunately, the owner did not check the hot water tanks before opening the end of April and there were serious problems. We spent 2 days without hot water and he was very loathe to give a discount. I got it only because I insisted. Not the friendliest of service but about average for that part of Spain. The hill from the town of Lloret to the Ridomar is very steep and we nicknamed it 'heart-attack hill'. The beach is at quite a distance so beware in the summer heat!There is a nice little pool and jacuzzi on the roof that will be an asset in the summer. The area isn't the most salubrious for older couples but the rooms are large and clean and the breakfast is also good. Overall the hotel is above avwerage and I think my view is jaundiced a little by the lack of hot water over 2 days and the hotel owner's cavalier attitude towards a serious issue- for a hotel that is!

The Hotel is located in a quiet area on a hill, it is really not far from the center but be prepared to walk about 300 meters uphill. The food was good and enough. Breakfast every morning the same choice but for the dinner the selection was wide and they offerd always local specialities and seafood as well. Only bad thing was the spring bed and the too thick pillows.

Be sure to check the prices on the page. I have to pay almost 100 euros more that I was told. The rooms where a nice size and clean. The people who worked at the hotel was nice and tried really hard to talk english for me and my family.

Only stayed for 2 nights but will stop at Ridomar next time. The reception signed me in at 1:20 in the morning! Rooms and towels,sheets etc where spotless and everyone was couteous and friendly. If this hotel was not up a big hill, it could easily make 4 star! P.S. the hill wasn't any problem to me, a sprightly 47 year old, but would not be suitable for elderly or infirm visitors. I would stay at this hotel again. The only bad comment I have to make is that on the 2nd day of my stay I saw a cockroach in my bathroom. Other than that the hotel was very clean. It was a bit difficult trying to communicate to the staff as they could not speak english.

L'albergo è decisamente carino, le stanze sono pulite, spaziose e luminose, con un bel balcone. non è vicinissimo al mare, ma si raggiunge la spiaggia comodamente in 10-15 minuti a piedi. la colazione è ottima ed abbondante, con vasta scelta di cibi, dai classici caffè thè e brioche a salumi, formaggi, uova... l'unico lato negativo durante il soggiorno è stata la rumorosità di certi ospiti, che gridando e correndo a tutte le ore ci hanno impedito di dormire 5 notti su 6. consigliato per il buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Definitely not a good location for anyone less than very athletic--on a very steep hill-had three very athletic people with me who got very winded climbing up to this location. We were met with-"oh if you want air it costs more than what you booked." Then we had to pre-pay. One room leaked water from the ceiling and light fixture all night and we were told they would bring towells which they didnt. We had to a pay a deposit for remotes on the TV. I felt like this family had bit off more than they wanted to chew and were very fearful of being taken advantage of. There were no hair dryers and very little air even tho we paid for it in addition to room cost. I would not stay here again. The pictures did not represent the hotel. The hotel is a good distance from the beach-you must take a cab from the bus unless you have very little luggage...hard to get up the hill.

Arrived here at 12.30am with night porter in charge who spoke very little English. Should have been offered (informed afterwards) a buffet meal as we had booked half board. It was not offered. Requested a lunch in compensation and this was refused. Breakfast was adequate but only one toaster taking 2 slices of bread. Long queues! Evening meal was bland and one of our party did not like the sweet they got and they requested an ice-cream instead. Again refused. On day of leaving we requested to leave our baggage in secure room. Refused again, had to leave it in the foyer! The hotel is up a very steep hill away from the town centre and was a little off putting at night with dim street lighting and strange locals?? Certainly not the best hotel I have stayed in but the rooms are clean, they overlook the street and are spacious due to lack of furniture. The staff appear arrogant and unhelpful. Not what I expected at all

Very nice Hotel, my room in the 4th floor was not excellent but OK. Food was superb and service was very friendly. Price/quality is great. Overall, very positive stay!!

For the price paid a very good value for money break. Staff friendly, hotel very clean. Had a bit of a problem finding the hotel. Location easy to get to beach and town by foot, although steep hill on way back.

Good hotel, considering the low price. Unfortunately they have cleaning lady’s who don’t care about the guests. They make a lot of noise, and that about 8.00 in the morning. This is strange because Lloret is a party town, so 8.00 is absolute TOO early!!!! Location is ok, it is near discothèque Hollywood. The night waiter is a very cool man!! Owner is also a nice person.

Could not believe that this hotel only rated 2*, the staff went out of their way to be helpful & friendly. The food was of a high quality. Hotel is situated on a small but steep hill some 10 minutes walk to the centre and a few minutes more to the sea front.

STUPENDO !!!! camere pulite..nel bagno c'è persino la vasca da bagno...inoltre piscina, pub, sala pc, solarium e sala mensa enorme e stupenda...personale qualificato e gentilissimissimo..per non parlare del prezzo ke in confronto ai servizi svolti è davvero conveniente....l'anno prossimo ho già deciso di tornarci con la mia tipa..LO CONSIGLIO A TUTTI !!! se volete risparmiare e star bene...RIDOMAR !!!

Bonjour, le Ridomar est un hotel dont je n ai a faire aucun reproches. Tout d abord au niveau de la qualité/prix, a peine plus chere qu un formule 1 ou une premiere classe en france, mais la c est un vrai hotel, avec des pieces spacieuses (meme la salle de bains ) et surtout tres propre. L'accueil est convenable, la mer un peu loin mais c est faisable en quinze minutes a pied (on peut pas tout avoir a un tel prix). L hotel assez dur a localiser et il faut chercher avant de pouvoir se garer. En somme j y retournerai bien...

C'è una salita che ti stronca da fare per raggiungere l'albergo e ci vogliono 15-20 minuti per arrivare in spiaggia. Stessa cosa vale per la vita notturna. Albergo rumoroso, stanze piccole, però va benissimo così per il prezzo pagato e cmq ottima attenzione per la pulizia delle camere. A colazione non indossate maglie senza maniche, una zitella bulimica ti rimanda su a cambiarti e metti che non funziona l'ascensore per qualche giorno (com'è successo a me). In conclusione, buon rapporto qualità/prezzo..

Direi senza dubbio che se dovessi tornare a Lloret tornerei al Ridomar. Ti fanno sentire come a casa,si mangia discretamente bene e direi che per quello che t viene offerto il prezzo è anche giusto.

It is a nice hotel with very friendly staff/owners. For sure, we would like to come back one day. Parking a car close to the hotel is really difficult.

Hotel not expensive, quite good as starting point: sleep and eat but no other facilities. Rooms not too big, but reccomended if you want not to spend much and you are not looking for TV, air conditioned and so on. And above all there is the myth: Jose!!!

There was air condition equipment installed, but not made available for us. After complaining about this fact, I was told from the guy at the front desk, that this service is not included into my specific acommodation. I just recognized that as meanness. Furthermore I couldn´t sleep one single night because we were disturbed by noise from other people inside and outside of the hotel during the night.

This hotel is cheap and the room quite big for the price. As there are a lot of young people everywhere in lloret and especially germans, you cannot sleep quite. The food is not so good but eatable. Go there if you just want to spend less money, otherwise take another hotel.

It was ok,and what we had expected.

The owner, his son and restaurant staff very helpful, warm and accommodating. The only problem we had were noisy neighbours, above us and next room. We needed to use sleeping pills and ear wax inserts to actuly go and stay asleep. This is not a complaint, just an observation, we realize the staff has no control over the behaviour of the visitors, but could/ should remind them not to slam, bang the doors after 1 am

I would book again! We arrived in the evening after dinner but they served us at Ridomar the whole dinner with a smile... The hotel is renovated therefore all nearly all room has got a new bathroom with bathtub, very clean. From the roof top with pool you have a great view of Lloret.

La distanza dal mare è di circa 700 mt. ma di salita tostissima, la navetta dell'hotel è a disposizione ma a partire dalle nove chiedendo in reception. L'albergo è pulito molto grazioso oltre che ecomomico e la cucina è buona e variata.

The only thing I was unclear about was whether I had paid when I booked the room on the site or not. Also visitors to the Ridomar should be aware that the only close car parking was on the street and during high season this could be a problem

A superb family run hotel. Ridiculously low price considering breakfast and dinner included. Only drawback is it is situated at the top of a steep hill but there are other ways up and down which make it easier. All staff were friendly and beds made up on a daily basis. Catering for international guests must be difficult but on the whole all meals were OK with me. Lift broke down a couple of times but that adds to the fun doesn't it? It is about 800 metres to the beach which is a pleasant walk through the shops. Resort facilities were excellent.

I had a very comfortable week at Ridomar, especially considering the low price. It is suitable for those who spend most of their time out and about as facilities are limited, although other guests regularly used the bar and rooftop pool. It is at the top of a steep hill so not suitable for elderly or those with walking difficulties etc. The bath is very small too but the shower was adequate. Clean linen each day and a very comfortable bed. I would definately stay there again.
