Hotel Guitart Rosa - Lloret de Mar

This place did not have air conditioning and wanted to charge 50 euro for a deposit on a "ventilator", plus an additional 3 euro per day. I thought that was ridiculous! The least they could do is provide a fan in every room for the comfort of their guests at NO additional cost. Also, I think they should improve the seal on the window's and balcony doors. I found it difficult to sleep at night.

In the night, when they clean the streets around the hotel, it is very loud. The hotel is old and still has the old normal windows which do not protect the people from the noice outside.

I would like to underline some aspect that makes me disappointed - It is the first time that I was forced to pay 5 Euro/day for a motorbike (please note that the parking place was a very small place between a fire-door and a table…I’ve taken the picture too) - Second “strange” thing that happened was related to my Documents. As normally happen, once you arrive at the Hotel, the receptionist asks for the ID card or the passport necessary for the registration. All over the world, these documents are returned the day after. In this Hotel, one employee asked me to pay the invoice in advance in order to get back my documents!!!!! - The bedroom was big enough with a nice balcony too; unfortunately the structure of the bed was not in good condition…In effect it was repaired in a very poor way (the left part of the bed was tilting due to a shorter feet…) I’m concluding saying that the Hotel it is in quite nice position and the overall environment is nice too. Unfortunately sometime the employees and some “strange rules” make the difference.

Noise in corridors and adjacent rooms travels into the bedrooms location of hotel very good in the town. Hotel provides car parking. good value for money hotel, reasonable meals only real problem is that some guests can be noisy and the voices to travel through the walls.

The quality of the hotel was well up to our expectations & the service was good despite the staff having to cope with a number of parties of students arriving & departing at various times. There was inevitably some noise but this was well controlled.Otherwise we had a pleasant stay.
