Good hotel for a one day romantic escape. Despite, we didn´t get a double, they gave us a triple one but I think it was my fault for not asking it when I made the booking. I think I may may go back anytime.

Wonderful location right across from the water. We were 3 friends travelling together. I strongly suggest the family room for the large balcony overlooking the beach. Rooms are spacious but NOT fancy. Be prepared to wake early, walls are thin and when staff starts their day you will hear it! I have not stayed in other places in Lloret de Mar so price/quality vs other places is not a judgement I can make, but I would indeed recommend Athene to friends for location/view/price based on this trip experience.

We stayed in Hotel Athene for 1 night in family suite which is the 2 twin rooms adjoined, location excellent as on the beach but the quieter end. For a group of 4 girls this situation was great, a nice balcony to have some drinks before going out, overlooking the beach.

il soggiorno è stato,in generale buono,ma i gestori potevano fare di meglio... è capitato un disguido con il condizionatore che si è messo a versare acqua sul letto...siccome era di sera (23)non sono venuti ne a cambiare le lenzuola bagnate ne è stato riparato il condizionatore(servizio che è stato pagato)..la stanza non è molto grande e il servizio di pulizia molto veloce ma non del tutto sufficiente(sotto il letto rimaneva molto sporco..forse da mesi) e le donne entravano senza aspettare la risposta ad entrare.

Room a little on the small side but comfortable, clean and quiet with a direct sea view. Decent breakfast buffet and friendly staff..,,and prepared to accept my booking for only two nights in mid July. Couldn't ask for more and would certainly return.

Fine location near to beach and city center. Rather cramped. First hotel ever we had to pay for the stay upon arrival ! We didn't feel very trusted in spite of reservation through Venere.

How to reach Hotel Athene

By car
From Barcelona airport take the C32b and follow the C31 Barcelona Sur, then continue on B10/NII towards Gerona/Perpignan. Take the C31 and close to Badalona take the C32. Once close to Lloret de Mar take the GI682 towards the centre of Lloret de Mar. Once there follow the paseo marítimo (promenade) towards the Castle. Hotel Athene is located at the end of the promenade in front of the municipal car park.

Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in: the rooms are available at any time after 2 p.m.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the rooms from 10 a.m to midday.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Please note that the amount corresponding to the first night will be charged by the hotel, at the moment of the reservation. This amount will be given back in case of cancellation made before the 48 hours of the arrival. Otherwise the hotel will keep this amount as cancellation charges.
