Hotel Aquarium & Spa - Lloret de Mar

At the same to Venere's customer the rooms reserved like spaciousness,quiteness,view, are always the worse of the hotel. Come al solito ai clienti di Venere le stanze offerte come grandezza,rumorosita',vista,sono le peggiori dell'hotel. E non credo che i clienti russi o francesi o spagnoli alla fine paghino di piu'. Per il resto ottimo hotel,discreta cucina,possibilita' di sauna gratuita.

4 Couples age 40 - 50 We have stayed at this hotel for the past 4 years at the beginning of October. It is an excellent hotel. Very clean and well managed with very good facilities and a great choice of food. I would recommend this hotel if you are travelling in October. There were a few stag parties in the hotel which made is quite noisy at night time however this did not bother us but would concern some people. I cannot say what it is like during peak times. Overall an excellent hotel in an excellent location

There was a lot of noise (from the pool and the hotel's corridors) almost all day long. The hotel doesn't provide towels for the pool and doesn't allow the guests to bring towels from the room...The hotel doesn't deserve a 4 star rating. The correct rating should be 3 stars if not less.

The Hotel is "PERFECT" said that I had to leave because we had a wedding in Barcelona... Very clean>Very Nice>Good Food> You can't say nothing accept perfect...Staff can also speak in English..All the way from Malta...

The Aquarium Hotel was in an ideal quiet location between the two main beaches of Lloret and Fenals. We had about 10 minutes walk to the bus station and only 2 minutes away from the bus stop that takes you to the train station in Blanes (which we used to go to Barcelona about 4 times that week). Since it's not in the centre of the clubs and nightlife, it was more convenient for us that preferred a quiet little restaurant or a walk by the beach, however, we do not exclude this hotel even if you were looking for nightlife if you're willing to walk those 10 minutes. As regards the hotel, I must say it was a really nice environment, including the staff, great food at the buffet (we were on HB) and beautiful spa area with a large indoor pool, tanning coach, an invigorating spa (including turkish bath-type shower with hot and cold jets) and jacuzzi. We also got help from the reception when we wanted to take an excursion to Port Aventura or find our way to the beach, or a nice typical restuarant for my bf's birthday. Yes, we did have a nice time at the Aquarium and we would recommend it to anyone.

Everything was satisfactory. Room with a pool view is important. Noise is an issue at night-time. We would go back to Hotel Aquarium. Good value.

Very nice hotel for a good price. The swimming pool is great and we were happy with our room. The breakfast buffet is close to being fantastic. The only thing I could complain about would be the bar service. This hotel is situated in the quiet part of Lloret de Mar, which in my opinion is WAY nicer than the other part but if you are young and going there to party you should stay at a hotel closer to the town center.

Just back from the Aquarium, only just opened for this season, hotel is freshly painted and new fittings, still in a good position to travel along the costa brava, Food was good but remember they cater for the spanish customer, cost for half board was 37 euros each weekends and 25 euros midweek, per night per person the good thing is you pay on your departure total 5 nights half board 362 euros or £250 sterling Rooms clean and fresh, little bit of noise at night, Would recommend a return visit as a base to tour around, staff friendly no major issues. The biggest problem we noted is poor sound isolation between rooms. You can hear almost everything. So the quietness in your room is very dependent of the neighbors and visa versa. Another negative detail is that when you leave the room, it was impossible to close your door without making a big noise. There was an alternative way to go about this, by using your room key, but no one used this method so there was a constant banging of doors. It was really annoying at midnight.

The hotel main desk was excellent in providing help for taxis and general directions. The bar staff was not too friendly but did provide what we asked. The rooms were great and the hotel pools were excellent. The hotel is about 15 min from the lloret de mar area. At first the distance seems far but once we figured out the area, it was not that bad of a walk, a taxi cost 8 euro from the hotel to the beach area. The bus station is about a 10-15 min walk as well but we took a taxi that cost no more than 8 euro. It is easy to get to Barcelona by bus and the cost is about 13 euro. The bathroom at the hotel was better than some I've seen. You can put a 10 euro deposit at the hotel to get beach towels. Overall the hotel was great, especially for families and the cost was the best for all that you get. The hotel has a game area with pool table, bar, resturant and lounge. The outside has a ping pong table, an indoor and outdoor pool and sauna. There are plenty of lounge chairs and the best rooms face the pool area. The area near the hotel is well lit and there are crossaint shops near by for breakfast. I do not recommend the breakfast because it cost too much and we ate at the nearby crossaint cafe for much less. Make sure you dont get half board or full board if you do not want the breakfast.

The aquarium is a very well run hotel and we were happy to make this return visit which will not be the last

Clean,friendly staff,comfortable and well located. We paid 43.4 euros for B@B in a double room in May which we found to be excellent value. The water was always piping hot, fresh towels every day with maid service.Outdoor Pool was cold and the sunbathing area could be bigger but the indoor pool was open and warm.Lifeguard always on duty. Breakfast was a little mundane but there were hot items and the bacon was better than most similar hotels.Used buses for Barcelona,Girona and Tossa it was about a 10 to 15 Mins walk to bus station. Altogether we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The front desk personnel were excellent, especially Danny and Natasha. They cheerfully responded to every request I put to them. They helped us a lot. The manager of the property was very nice and helpful too.

Our stay at Aquarium was well worth the stay. Lloret de Mar is a very wild town with sleepless nights and busy days, but Aquarium was away from the busy area enough to provide quiet evenings. Away from the noise and rush, yet close enough to walk to the beach and club area. Lots of older families stay here. From hotel, easy access to bus stop (1 Euro) that takes you straight to Blanes train station, then you can take the train (3.50 Euros) into downtown Barcelona. Free Lloret Bus passes hotel. No view of beach from any room. Live shows at night. Parking was good although there was No FREE private parking for hotel. Area is safe enough to park on streets outside hotel, and street parking is ALWAYS FREE in that area!!! AND there's ALWAYS a place to park. The Hotel parking was 7.50 Euros. Well worth it to just park on the street. You can park closer to the front door as well. Lloret is less than 20 mins from Gerona airport. Breakfast was good. If you want to be near the heart of the excitement on Costa Brava and still have a GOOD nights rest away from all the noise and traffic, this is an ideal hotel. Personally, if I return to Lloret, I'd rather have a room ON the beach, but I will have to sacrific my peaceful nights.

The Aquarium is one of few hotels in this holiday area which offers single night stays. The location and facilities are very good.

Staff were absolutely brilliant, and very helpful. i left my keys in the hotel and they sent them to the aiport by taxi so as i could still get my flight. need i say more! my friends and I had an excellent stay.

The Aquarium was a well appointed hotel with a wide range of facilities as described on the web site. The only minor faiure was that their advertised car park was full with the nearest off street alternative parking quite expensive for any length of time. However, access to the hotel car park is extremely difficult so that may be a mixed blessing! As a quality hotel in the centre of a holiday area but which accepts bookings for any number of days, not just weeks, I would certainly recommend the Aquarium.

Very nice hotel; the staff attempted to charge us extra and management had to get involved to resolve the problem. Be sure to have info from email and credit card info and double check the payment amount upon checking in.
