We have booked for Hotel Top Alexis but when we arrived to the hotel, we were asked to change for hotel Casino Royal, without any excuse nor reason. This last was extremely noisy; TV was useless and no air conditionned.

Our room had no balcony, like quite a few of the rooms. We asked if we could be moved but the receptionist said we could not be. The receptionist spoke very limited english. The hotel was in need of much refurbishment. In our room the bathroom was very old. There were ants in the bathroom and outside in the roadside terrace. There was plaster coming off the walls and doors etc were damaged. The maids made a good attempt at cleaning the rooms. The food was not too bad and the hotel did not seem to be busy so there were no queues even in August. The pool was not very well sited, but the roof small pools were ok and the beach was not far away. Also the town is very close, yet the hotel is in quite a quiet part of town, except for a few people shouting at night.
