Thanks to its elegant interiors and impeccable service the Grand Hotel Union - Executive is considered to be one of Ljubljana's finest hotels. The proximity to the Old City and the good connection to the airport make this four star hotel a first class accommodation right in the heart of the Slovenian capital city suitable both for business and leisure travelers.
Hotel leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool, a Finnish sauna, a massage parlour and a fitness room. Culinary delights are served in the main hotel restaurant, the elegant Smrekarjev Hram Restaurant, in the Union cellar or alternatively in the quiet shady garden.

We would have preferred a room located at a higher floor, with a nicer view over the surroundings. But the room in itself was perfect, and the hotel perfectly located in the very center of Ljubljana. Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel.

This is really a business hotel. It has location going for it but is ordinary otherwise. Staff nice. Meals goodish.

Located in downtown Ljubljana close to good shopping, tourist attractions, and restaurants. Excellent breakfast, with lots of choice, included with room rate. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We really appreciated use of the business centre that provided internet access for free.

This is an extremely nice hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious. It is situated approx. 150 metres from the main 'square' and is a great base for anyone staying in Ljubljana.

The hotel is located right in the center, close to the tourist attractions. The room was very spacious, with free internet. Breakfast was excellent with many items. There is a shuttle to the airport at a good price.

This hotel was excellent value for money with the Venere.com rate. Centrally located, the hotel is only a short walk to the main square and riverside cafes of Ljubljana. The hotel has recently been renovated and everything is in pristine condition. The pool on the top floor has a good view over the city. We found the hotel excellent in every respect, although it migt not suit a couple looking for a romantic break, as the decor and furnishings are functional rather than atmospheric.
