We were visiting Ljubljana for the first time and found the hotel made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was spacious and the hotel has excellent facilities including a lovely pool. Would definitely stay here again

The prices in Slovenia are very high for what you get and hotels seem somehow dated and not very stylish. But the breakfast in this hotel is excellent, the rooms large and clean, the service friendly and helpful, and it is right next to the very heart of the old city. In our case though the views were nothing special and the gym was poor, which when added to the unsubstantial lobby and lack of style, brought down the overall feel a little.

We spent only one night in the hotel on the trip to Croatia and have no doubts it fits or needs,especially the breakfeast was great!

our reservation wasn't registered in the Hotel Grand Union - Business. But the employees offered us an equal room, so it was no problem thanks to the confirmation e-mail. The location is perfectly situated to see the old town of Ljubliana.

Ljubljana is a GREAT place to visit, the hotel is in a PERFECT location, walking distance to restaurants and tourist area. My only complaint is that the parking costs an extra 17 euro per day and that the electronic system wasn't working so I had some problems getting OUT of the parking garage under the hotel. The rooms are modern and clean. The Buffet breakfast (included in the price) was INCREDIBLE! I'd go back!

We stay in Ljubjana for business and the hotel was perfect, near the city center, rooms and cleaness very good. A little trouble: we booked the "Grand Hotel Union - Business" but we stayed in "Grand Hotel Union - Garni", because the first one was full. Garni Hotel was near the first one and very nice too.

A very nice Hotel, excellent breakfast, and facilities, frendly and helpfull staff. With regard to noise, when we first arrived we had a room at the back of the building, which due to a nightclub nearby was very noisy until the early hours of the morning. We got transferred to the front of the Hotel the next day and it was fine from then onwards. So if you choose to stay ask for the front of the Hotel.

Found a marvelous Restaurant about 400metres to the rear of the hotel called Sestica. We enjoyed our stay and the Hotel staff were very helpful. If we return to Ljubljiana I am sure we would stay at this hotel

We liked the hotel overall very much; we just had the bad luck to be just below the swimming pool, the sounds of which gave us the feeling to be in a bathtub ourselves. Hoewever, the room was fantasticillay spacious and beautifully furnished.

Excellent hotel, position in the heart of the city, clean and quiet rooms, good service (also car rental possibility), huge breakfast! We recommend to take walking sight-seeing from city tourist information = in two hours you get interesting information from houses and places in the city and also either boat-trip or castle visit was included. And outside Ljubljana don´t forget to visit Bled and wine road of Jeruzalem area on east (just amazing views and wines!!!)

The hotel is near the lovely centre of the town. But in the neigbourhood of our room was a loud Disco, we closed the windows and used "Ohropax".

Stayed 3 nights. Huge room , with nice balcony. Parking 12.50 eu/day. Absolutely incredible breakfast buffet.(creps, kiwis, melon, bacon, sausage, eggs,cheese, roasted veggies/tomates, etc..) One could pretty much skip lunch. Great location to old town, barely 2 blocks. Only small issue was to pool. We stayed on the 7th floor, pool is on the 8th, We could occasionally hear the pool filter kick on and run, but we were not in the room much so no worries. Otherwise get a room opposite, or on the 6th floor.
