Fabulous little hotel in the heart of Ljubljana! Our room was huge! The shower was a nuisance however as it flooded the bathroom floor. But otherwise, delicious breakfast in a beautifully decorated room. Location was perfect. Lots of lovely shops and restaurants on the doorstep. Hire bikes and go to the park!

Excellent location and charming place. It would take just a little to make it good: rooms need to be renovated, furniture, curtains, CARPETS and bathrooms. Breakfast is good but too poorly organised. Staff are warm and friendly. A good place to stay.

An issue with street being pedestrian only: Taxis have to be met a (short) block away from the hotel. When a taxi that the hotel has ordered for you does not arrive, you must decide whether to continue to wait and hope, or walk back to the hotel (because they are not answering their phone at the moment) and risk the taxi arriving when you are not there. The hotel clerk was very complacent about my problem when I anxiously asked him to call for a second taxi as the first taxi never arrived. I made it to the train station with only seconds to spare.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Hotel was right in the old town centre and full of character. The room was huge with nice furniture. The breakfast was a bit limited, but perfectly acceptable.

Travelled here on holiday as a couple. Really enjoyed our stay in the hotel and thought the spaciousness of the room and the location were excellent. The hotel itself does not have many facilities and is fairly expensive. However, I think that this is reflective of Ljubljana in general. The bathroom was big but the water was not the warmest. The double bed was actually made up of two single mattresses pushed together which was not ideal.

We highly reccommend Antiq Hotel Ljubljana! We arrived at 3am after a train strike from italy delayed our arrival. Sure enough,a most helpful man greeted us, signed us in promptly and helped with our luggage. We were late for breakfast the next morning after some confusion about the breakfast times, and as we got back to our room, a tray full of breakfast selections arived to have in our secluded little patio! So thoughtful were the staff and helpful. Clean and warm,(the stairs could be a little much for elderly folk) a delightful place to stay in the most beautiful city!. We only had 2 days, but I could spend a lifetime enjoying Ljubljana. Thank you Slovenia, a wonderful holiday.

A wonderful location. Our room was more of an apartment. Right in the old town, with plenty of restaurants close by. The room was probably the most unique spot I have stayed in. Beautiful gardens on the propery, with the castle above us. Only stayed one night.

How to reach Antiq Hotel

By car
From the A2 highway, take the Ljubljana centre exit and follow signs to the city centre. After seven sets of traffic lights, turn right and follow signs to Zagreb. Just in front of the 4th set of traffic lights, turn left, continue for another 100 metres until the pedestrian area, where you will see the hotel on your right hand side.

By train
From the central station take the bus n.9 until the main post office/ Nama station (3 stops). Then take the bus n.3 for 3 stops. Cross the street and walk for about 100 metres, following the down town direction. You will see the Antiq hotel building on your right hand side.
