Hotel Gran Duca - Livorno

Nice hotel. Highly recommendable

Nous y avons passé une nuit fin mai. Rien à redire sur la chambre, spacieuse et très propre,sur l'accueil, sur les prestations en général. En revanche, et l'hôtel n'en est pas responsable, il y a beaucoup de bruits qui remontent des alentours ( bar bruyant,altercations, motos...). Les personnes qui rêvent de tranquilité seraient bien inspirés de dormir ailleurs. Mais pour notre part, nous y retournerons.

I just arrived in the night because the ferry from Sardinia was delayed but the hotel waited for us and it was very fine to have a good bed after hours in the armchair in the ferry

The man at the front desk was incredibly rude. He argued with me about everything, and then would not let me park my car in the garage, even though I had called ahead to make certain that I would be able to do so. The room was clean and reasonable, though the bed was very uncomfortable. The only good thing was the shower, which was spacious and had good water flow. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

I did not like the noise from the road in front of the hotel and the extra payment for an unsecured WLAN. There was only one shower towel for two persons. The entrance to the parking site for cars is extremely narrow.
