Britannia Adelphi Hotel City Centre - Liverpool

Quite strange place, but it has a very good location: it is close to the railstation. It is like to be in an old time. Not much agreable. Small rooms with two internal doors. Quite strange! Besides you have to pay separately for every service.

The room was very small ad smelt very fusty also the rooms looked very old and shabby, wallpaper coming off, bathroom grout dirty and peeling. Went into the leisure facility which was disgusting and smelly and dirty. Tiles coming off, very slippy floors, broken door handles, grout on all tiles brown with dirt, cracked and falling apart, very disappointed as had psychd myself up with the reputation of hotel. Disappointed +++ although i guess you get what you pay for and £48 a night was average although didnt include breakfast. Don't think i'd stay here again unfortunatley.

Beautifully restored and worth a visit just to witness the splendid architecture and quality of the building. Excellent roomy double room quiet and comfortable with first class facilities

The price was quite high in comparison to some of the more modern hotels in liverpool. Hotel was in a bad need of a refurb. old fashioned floral look and old stiff windows.

Centralissimo, camere immense, edificio storico con mobili antichi, bagno secondo lo standard inglese, nel complesso consigliatissimo. La colazione, da pagare a parte, è un pò cara. Subito fuori l'hotel è possibile fare un'ottima colazione a minor prezzo. Stazionamento dei taxi fuori l'albergo per il rientro in aeroporto con tariffe abbordabili (15 euro),

For a 4*** hotel, I was really disappointed. Staff wasn't friendly, the bathroom wasn't clean... the only positive point is that the hotel is well located!

Our room required us to go up 2 floors by lift, walk through a maze of corridors (very confusing) and then go down a flight of stairs and walk through more corridors. There was alift beside our room but it was not in use. Receptionist got us into our room early and the staff were very good throughout our stay but room was badly equiped and old fashioned. Also the only window was high up and we could not see out. There was excessive noise from the street and the fire alarms went off several times during the night. Hotel has potental but needs work. The staff are great and deserve a better hotel!

We were only stayed at the hotel for one night so we did not have an opportunity to try many of the services. We arrived early and the hotel was quite accomodating regarding the holding of our bags until we could check-in later in the day and they also held our bags the following day while we attended the Everton match at Goodison Park

Calidad-precio inmejorable. Situado en el centro de la ciudad y en una zona tranquila y de buen ambiente, tanto el edificio como sus instalaciones se merecen las cuatro estrellas. La habitación un poco pequeña y el trato recibido correcto. Lo recomiendo a todos.

After reading some reviews I was dreading arriving. I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel was in fact a very nice place to say. The rooms were clean and spacious the location must be the best in Liverpool and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Dont let bad reviews put you off thus hotel is excellent. I am definitly going to stay here on my next visit to Liverpool.
