SANA Lisboa Hotel - Lisbon

The Hotel Sana Lisboa did much to enhance my stay of 8 days in Lisbon. I would recommend it to all my friends.

Excellent location. A few minutes to the heart of the city. Superb room and breakfast. I strongly recommend this hotel.

The hotel staff considered (by orders from their superiors,I guess) the price for 2 rooms and 4 nights so high ( 1070 euros) that they wanted the pay in advance, when checking-in, although they had the credit card number in their possesion. I didn´t like that very much... Otherwise our stay and Lissabon were OK.

excellent value for money. location is 15 min walk from city center or two metro stops. breakfast buffet offers large choice of everything. room is very spacious and confortable.

This is a great hotel, with excellent,knowledgeable and very helpful staff.We had a lovely, spacious room, which was cleaned daily and to a very high standard. Breakfast was delicious,served in a beautiful dining room with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. There is a bus stop right outside hotel to catch a regular bus to the airport. you can also get on the open-top bus tour from the same place.hotel is a pleasant walk away from good selection of restaurants, bars and shops but be prepared for the uphill walk back!Would definitely stay at this hotel again and very happy to recommend it to others.

Best relationship between price and quality in Lisbon. The hotel is close to the airport (cab) and to downtown (metro). Friendly front desk personnel, an attractive and modern architectural design, a nice bathroom and a fantastic breakfast is included in the price.

Very nice hotel. Great rooms. Breakfast quite fine. Underground station very close and buses to the Airport in front of the hotel. Good Relationship price/quality I would definetely come back to this hotel.

The best price/quality ratio of any hotel we stayed at during this vacation. Excellent breakfast buffet. It's a bit of a walk or a short subway ride to the old city centre, though.

Hotel molto bello. Struttura moderna, stanze ampie e pulite. Situato appena fuori dal centro storico, molto ben servito dal trasporto pubblico (50 mt. da metro gialla/blu - fermata autobus a 30 mt.)

Très bon rapport qualité-prix. Bon petit-déjeuner buffet inclus. L'hôtel n'est qu'à un quart d'heure à pied (descente de l'agréable Avenida da Libertade)de Rossio, le coeur de la ville. Il est également facile à rejoindre de l'aéroport.

Hotel Sana Lisboa was one of the best hotels I have stayed in Europe. Location was great to get around; a few minute walk to the subway station (Marquee Pombal). The hotel is a lot closer to Marquee Pombal as compared to Saldana (contrary to the advice on hotel website) so get off at Marquee Pombal. Breakfast buffet was great but it gets boring if you are staying there for more than two nights, as they don't change the spread at all. Overall we had a good stay but the staff wasn't too informative. For example, we weren't told of any facilities available (spa etc) and not even the location of breakfast buffet when we checked-in. We had to ask other hotel guests. The room didn't have any information either accept the room service menu.

Very good hotel. I recommend it. It should be clearly stated by the hotel that internet on TV is not free. It should also be stated by the hotel that there is a free internet station at the groundfloor.

We stay only 2 nigths. We took no diners at the hotel as more concentred in the centrum visit, very convenient to join with subsways ( near the Hotel).The centrum of Lisbon have plenty of very good and cheap restaurants with local meals or fishes.

We booked this Hotel for the good reviews and it was a very nice stay. Only negative point was that the whirlpool was out of order... The Bus stop mentioned on the venere page is wrong...you have to stay for 2 more stop or walk. You can take Bus 44 it takes nearly the same time like a Taxi and cost only 1.40 Eur.

The breakfast is very rich and good. The hotel is placed very well near the metro and pubblic transportations. The neighrborhood is excellent also in the evening.

El hotel esta genial en relación calidad precio, está en una zona tranquila,agradable y muy bien comunicado,cerca del metro, y al lado parada del bus para el aeropuerto ademas de muchas otras paradas,el personal ha sido muy agradable en todo momento, desde los trabajadores de la recepción siempre dandonos información de todo lo que necesitabamos con una sonrisa y ayudandonos en todo lo que necesitabamos hasta los trabajadores del comedor recibiendonos cada mañana con una sonrisa.Les hacía gracia cada vez que intentaba chapurrear un poco el portugués.Las habitaciones perfectamente limpias,decoracion acogedora, el desayuno genial, a todos los hoteles que he ido ultimamente siempre me ha pasado que me faltaba algo o fruta o más variedad en la comida, en este hotel es el primero que tengo un desayuno completo sin tener que estar pidiendo cosas.No tengo ninguna queja del hotel y he quedado encantada por eso he decidido por primera vez ponerle un 10 en todo a un hotel salvo en servicios e instalaciones que le pongo un 9 porque si a caso por quejarme de algo en la zona spa el jacuzzi estuvo fuera de servicio durante toda la estancia, pero ya digo...por quejarme de algo. Desde luego si vuelvo a Lisboa sin duda escogería de nuevo este hotel.

Great Hotel in a good position for buses and metro for sight seeing. Hotel Directions from Airport say 44 Bus in direction of Cais Sodre which is correct but do not get off at Saldanha as suggested stay on to the next stop just before Marque de Pombal which is almost outside the hotel door

An excellent clean, modern hotel, used by a mixture of tourists and business people. The staff on Reception were efficient and spoke excellent English. The room was comfortable(including the bed,which according to some reviews was hard!), the bathroom well-appointed, with plenty of the usual little extras, and towelling robes, and the breakfasts (included in the price) were great, particularly the selection of fresh fruit. The hotel's location, though north of the main tourist centre, was well placed for access to the Metro and buses, including the Aerobus( to and from airport). An ideal base from which to explore Lisbon for the first time.

This hotel is well worth a try. The hotel is spotless, the breakfast buffet is great and the staff are very friendly. I marked down the public areas because they are a little stark. The restaurant particularly is great for breakfast but too clinical for a romantic dinner.

Wonderful, clean, and peaceful place to stay. It was my favorite hotel on my trip to Portugal, and I stayed at four. I hope to return to Sana Lisboa, and to Portugal.

A comfortable, high quality hotel innan excellent position for exploring Lisbon. The Airport bus stops outside the hotel, and there are 2metro stops within a 5 minute walk. The Gulbenkian is a 15 minutewalk. Staff are helpful, facilities are good, and the breakfast is varied and plentiful. Across the road are 2 good, local restaurants.

The Sao Lisboa Hotel was a wonderful value. The staff was competent, helpful and friendly. I developed an abcessed tooth while staying at the hotel and the staff were able to get me in immediately to see an English speeking dentist who took great care of me. The breakfasts at the hotel were marvelous; dinner there was excellent. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. We had a 4 star hotel at a 2 star price. My only disappointment was that Venere showed a beautiful water view out the window and our view was of an ugly building. The rooms with the view shown on the Venere add are few as they are on the upper floors and facing the water. The hotel itself was great; I think your ad is misleading advertising and should be changed or the wording adjusted so that guests don't think that they are guaranteed the pretty view.

Hotel is good value for money. Breakfast spread was really good. Plenty of choice both hot and cold. Bar prices high, particularly for food. Very short walk to Metro station. However the beds are like rocks. Even after having a 'mattress topper' added it was like laying on the ground. We then put the bedspread on top of the mattress as well and it was OK so didn't sleep too well. Otherwise loved it.

Very nice hotel, very nice services... Very nice city, I will go again in Lisbon. Every thing was very nice.

an excellent hotel. We stayed in the 12th floor with a great view. The wellness area is really great. Perfect breakfest buffet. Airportbus station direct in front of the hotel. Exzellent service. Unfortunately there were road works in front of the hotel. We really enjoyed staying in the hotel

This is a good Hotel, good location, spacious rooms & comfortable, clean, etc.., but you as soon as you check in you experience the bad things that I report here, how come a 4* Hotel that does have your credit card information, ask you the credit card, and makes an debit authorization as soon as you check in? (and don’t show to you the amount of that debit?), this is like paying without getting the service, the garage is an absurd 14 EUR/night!?. But the worst thing is the uncomfortable sensation that the hotel gives you by authorization a debit on your credit card, surely this is an unpleasant sensation feels like they don't trust the customer even the ones with the credit cards details on the database. Another ridiculous thing is that is not my first time in this hotel (but surely the last), and no data was available for my last stay, they told me that they have migrated the software, and lost everything?!, what kind of organization is that? who is running this hotel, incompetents? (my only guess). My advice is you don't want to have a bitter taste in your check in and feel treated like a crook don't stay here!.

A very beautiful hotel with an excellent location in Lisboa. I would like to know why it is impossible to see italian programs on television.

Just one problem; with the "Dakar" the Hotel was full with "fans" et made sometimes a lot of noise...

Good Hotel I recommend it, good breakfast.

In general, location was fine. Public transport was excellent - we purchased a 5 day travel card which covered busses, trams and metro at a very reasonable cost. The was a lot of heavy road works going on outside hotel and beneath our window. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Leisure facility was poor - couple od pieces og gym equipment, small sauna & steam room but jacuzzi was not working during our stay - and no explanation from staff. Overall, a very comfortable and well located hotel.

Good Hotel, good location, my disappointment was to pay up-front for my stay, don't know why since they have all the credit details, and furthermore, this is not a usual behaviour for a 4* hotel. They should change this policy.

This is a great Hotel that sets new standards. It's brand new, and this was my second 8-night stay. Location is perfect: convenient for sights in and outside Lisbon; Aircoach (€3) stops outside main door; Metro on corner has 2 lines. You can walk to downtown via tree-lined main Avenue or along Santa Marta and soak up some of the "real" (and disappearing) Lisbon not all visitors get too see. This Hotel has class, without the attitude. Breakfast is fabulous. Rooms have great bathrooms. There is a workout room. Hotel is meticulously clean and well-lit. Well-suited for leisure and business travellers. Excellent Price/Quality ratio. This Hotel deserves your business, while others don't always. I will definitely be back and would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone.

The hotel was well beyond our expectations for the price and in a good location. Immaculately clean with an amazing buffet breakfast and high standard of service from the staff.
