Good hotel with excellent services . Reception helpful . Certainly value for money . Situation a little far from the center and walking on the little cobblestones not very easy . No hotel for family with little children . Careful with taxis at the airport ; some ask crazy prices .

The VIP Executive Madrid in Lisboa is a very good hotel, very clean; the staff is very nice, the breakfast is very good and it is very well situated near the metro.A good place where to stay well in Lisboa!

Clean and quiet room, close to the main areas of interest. Sorroundings are safe enough if you return to the hotel during the night. Breakfast was included in the price and was abundant and had quality.

Rooms are a bit noisy but the overall judgement is that this hotel offers a very good service for the price. Good breakfast and great location close to center and transport.

Assez bien situé bien que pas francement central...Chambre minuscule... Quelques prostitués la nuit devant l'hotel.. Une reception passive, peu bavarde (ce qui est un paradoxe à Lisbonne ou les gens sont trés sympathiques)... pas un seul francophone dans l'hotel rempli au deux tiers par des français!! Mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner excellent!

The hotel is a good price/quality tradeoff. The main concern I point out is the absence of Wireless connection. They do have access points but they are only available in the lobby and at a very expensive fee (3 euros/hour).

Good quality for the price. Location is OK, provided you are willing to walk 20 minutes to nearest subway stop. 30 minutes walk to main tourist area. Will stay again if returning to Lisboa. Recommended.

We stayed in Lisbon for 2 days. The tips the hotel staff gave to us were very precisely. The hotel is closed to metro, supermarket and a very good Italian restaurant.

We've just come back from around the world trip and this hotel offered by far the best value for money. It is convienietly located in the heart of the city at incredable low price. The parking is quite tight (do not try to park there a big car), but staff are happy to assist. We would recommend it very much.

Bruno at the front desk was very helpful. The rooms were a good size. The location is only +/-4 Euro by cab to Rossio Square and you can walk it in +/-30 minutes. The breakfast was excellent!

Generally the qualities of the hotel were excellent in relation to the price. The only spot: 3 employees of 4 were quite incompetent.

Modern hotel with efficient staff. Booked two rooms for parents and teenage children. There is not much sound insulation within the building and it can be a bit noisy but not too bad. You can walk to the central area in 15 mins and Lisbon has lots of cheap taxis. We stayed at another hotel in Lisbon during our trip that was older and more charismatic but the Madrid was pleasant and excellent value.

the staff at this hotel were the best . they went above and beyond , very polite, very helpful, and pleasant to talk with.they gave great directions in english and we had no trouble walking to any of the public transportations.the room was bigger than i thought it would be and was cleaned everyday

Several have commented that it was farther than expected. For the price, I thought it was a fine location. 20 min walk or 5 min walk and two metro stops to city center. Worth the trade off to save 20E/nt. And metro from there is very easy and well connected. I was traveling alone so worried about location and go on great. Nice facilities. No problem w/noise. Great staff. Good breakfast. Only complaint was bed was not the most comfortable, but pretty standard for many mid-priced European hotels. I'd stay there again. Loved Lisbon.

Muy bien el Hotel en lineas generales. La habitación muy correcta. Lo peor: el desayuno poco variado y el comedor justito, el parking es de pago y sin demasiado espacio para maniobras (llevé un monovolumen y en algunas curvas hay que hacer maniobras). La atención perfecta. Muy cerca del centro (15/20 en plan paseo a pie o 2 paradas de metro) Muy buena relación calidad/precio.

We stayed at VIP Executive Madrid for only one night. We were eight persons(!) and used three rooms. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the beds were of reasonable quality. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. From the location of the hotel (close to the Praça do Marquès de Pombal) nearly any destination in Lisboa is within reach by foot, underground or bus. In that way it's a perfect spot. But the direct surroundings of and view from the hotel are of poor quality and not interesting.

The hotel was nice with great employees. We did not know which port our ship was anchored at and the people at the front desk did all they could to help us find out and then told the taxi driver the location. The hotel is located in a spot convenient to subways and buses and within walking distance of the center of town. There were 3 problems, though. The first was the website said they had a shuttle from the airport and they did not. The second was there was no air conditioning so we had to open the windows and the prostitutes outside at 3:00 a.m. were loud enough to wake us (the 3rd problem!). But I would stay again at this hotel.

Hotel is not close to the center, but very well connected (Metro, Bus). They give us a suite with the same price of a double, to accomplish to our reservetion for a matrimonial bed. Quiet rooms, with a little bit noise, probably the heating/air conditioning system.

L'albergo si trova in una posizione vicina al centro (alle spalle della bellissima avenida de libertade). Le stanze sono abbastanza spaziose e dotate dei giusti comfort. Una nota particolare merita la splendida, ricca ed abbondante colazione che consente tranquillamente di saltare il pranzo. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo per il periodo (primi gg di agosto).

it is a good normal hotel with a little bit of design stuff. the recommendation of a fado-restaurant nearby was not typicaly it was touristic and very expensive.

If one time you use any 4 star hotal in germany or UK, then you wil find the differences of quality! Poor breakfast, non appropriate service, poor internet access and etc.
