Hotel Vincci Baixa - Lisbon

The Vincci Baixa is a nice hotel in a good location for exploring Lisbon. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. The room itself was long and narrow with very little storage space for clothes or shoes. The hard wooden floors in the bedrooms mean that every footstep can be hard below. This lead to a very disturbed night when the guests above us decided to start dancing in high heels in their room in the early hours.

First class, we thoroughly recommend this hotel as a good base from which to visit Lisbon. Rooms delightfully decorated and furnished, breakfast outstanding and staff both professional and friendly. Wide choice of restaurants nearby, some of v.g. quality. Possibly on the expensive side but service and location more than compensated.

Unfortunately, no fitness room. Very warm welcome. We really appreciated all staff members.

Very goodposition to visit the city, very comfortable room, even if very small. I would reccomend this hotel.

Small room

This is a fantastic hotel on a perfect location and excellent staff. The rooms are nicely decorated, just like in the pictures. They are not extremely large, but enough space to move about. The only drawback is the closet space. Living out of a suitcase is not something I like. But the advantages are plenty: beautiful bathroom, good beds, very advanced lighting system, excellent staff to answer all your questions and last but not least the fantastic location. Downtown Lisbon, all public transport around the corner, on stone's throw of the Se cathedral, in the shopping district, close to the river. What more could you want?

Las habitaciones están bien. Tienen una decoración elegante y con gusto, luz de intensidad regulable y son muy tranquilas. Pero, no hay armario para la ropa (mejor dicho, sí hay, pero tan pequeño que sólo caben un par de camisas y un pantalón). El problema es que las habitaciones son estrechas y no dan para más. El baño tiene una puerta de vidirio que no se puede cerrar con pestillo. Eso sí, la atención es excelente. Lo mejor del hotel es la gente que trabaja en él y el hecho de que está en la baixa, al lado de la Plaza del Comercio.

Excellent rapport qualité /prix. Hôtel très bien placé pour découvrir cette ville(50m de l'arrêt de la navette venant de l'aéroport); Très jolie décoration(design)même si la chambre est petite; la salle de bain est impéccable.

Nice hotel in strategic location

4 days stay with my wife for a shor vacation. Room not enormous but very clean and very comfortable, recently restructured. Staff extremely available, gentle and useful! Really appreciated. Sorroundings extremely nice and hotel position ideal. Transportation very close to hotel. Suggest to take tram n° 28 direction Castle. Nice stay. Strongly recommended.

The hotel location is very central. Hotel very clean and nice, not very typical though.

The hotel is fantastic. New, modern and with very friendly Staff. The location is perfect for visiting all central areas of the town just walking. The rooms are very nice and clean the only problem is that they are a little small but apart from this everythingelse was just perfect. The staff was very helpful: when we needed to rent a car they did everything and the car was in front of the hotel at the expected time. We did not try breakfast because there are so many bars around that we preferred to walk.

Would definitely appeal to an upmarket traveller. Location: great, walking distance to major attractions; lots of good restaurants within 5 minutes; not too noisy for such a central spot. Breakfast: good value for money (14 euro pp), with lots of choice, fresh and varied buffet style. Hotel restaurant: would not bother, no ambience, lots of better ones around the hotel. Room (twin beds): modern, very clean, well decorated, surprisingly minimalistic wardrobe (3 hangers tops). Noise: as expected from a street-facing side; TV next door noisy (screen against our wall). Staff: very friendly and helpful, from phone booking to welcome, ordering taxi etc. Genuinely nice people, ok, except one grumpy and rude bar waitress. Complained to reception and received an apology and a bowl of fruit. Would recommend if you aren not on a budget.

Excellent hotel, with a good price/quality relationship, everything on a walking distance and public transportation around the corner, friendly and cooperative staff. All in all, very recommendable
