Hotel Sana Rex - Lisbon

Good hotel, excellent location. I recommend!

I liked it very much. The hotel is very nice and so are its employees, always helpful. All the rooms are fine. Great breakfast. Cleanliness maybe the only issue to be aware of because you have to indicate yourself if you want your linen changed. The rest (bathroom, room) ok.

Recommendable Hotel

Good hotel, poor breakfast, good surroundigs but little bit far from subway station and from center. Attention to the systematical overbooking: often they try to get the payment before to send youin the SanaLisboa

El hotel està algo lejos del trasnporte público.

There were a problem in the hotel where we had to go (sana rex) so they told us to go in an other hotel of the chain (sana lisboa) a 4 stars hotel that was absolutly fantastic we didn't pay more and it was only 1 min walk for the lasr hotel

Everything was fine, but the personnel could be a SLIGHT friendlier.

You had quoted 58 Euro but we were charged 62.00 per night per person, if anything it was your communication that was not clear and this was not the fault of the Hotel. what you failed to make clear was the price you quoted was FROM 58 PER NIGHT

We found the hotel quite nice and could easily stay there again. The reception staff were friendly and most helpfull when asked about sight seeing etc.

Buon servizio/accoglienza. Stanza non molto spaziosa ma nella media. Tipica colazione da Hotel con solito caffè solubile. Posizione buona, consigliato per un comodo e buon week-end.

Excellent location for visiting the city of Lisboa, quiet surrounding, friendly and helpful staff. Old fashioned interrior.

Very small but nice room. Great breakfast. Nice staff. Good area: next to the Ritz and about 15 min to the city center. taxis are cheap and they don't try to cheat you.

Excellent value for a very nice hotel in a good location.

The rooms are all you can expect from a 3-star hotel and even more: enough space, well-equipped bathroom, cable TV, etc. The location is OK, not at the Marques de Pombal itself as stated in the Hotel info but at the other extreme of the Eduardo VII Park, which is still quite central. So what's wrong with this hotel, then: the service quality. Just to give you some examples: 1) We made a reservation for a double room but when we arrived we received a twin room instead. There were no more double rooms available, which is quite annoying having made the reservation almost one month before. 2) Under the bed we found an empty condom pack (that wasn't ours), which gives an indication that the cleanliness isn't really thorough. 3) When we left the hotel, we were told by the guy at the reception that the hotel has its own taxi service to the hotel with better cars and the same price. We took one of those taxis and the price was more double the price of the normal taxis. It is a pitty that a hotel with a very good infrastructure has such a poor service quality.
