Hotel Príncipe Lisboa - Lisbon
Avenida Duque De Avila 201 - Lisbon
877-662-6988São Sebastião Metro Station, located only two minutes away by foot, is only four stops away from the city's historic centre, Baixa. Other major tourist attractions within easy reach include Restauradores Square, Rossio Square, the Bairo Alto district and neighbouring Chiado.

I think it was a very good hotel for the price. For that I mean, that we were three people straying for 75 €. I didn't expect it to be so nice, and good as it was.. Staff is very friendly ! The hotel is located just in front of a metro station, so its very easy to get there, or to get out in town. Overall I think its a very good place, I will for sure stay there again if I get back to Lisbon.

Location of the hotel is wonderful, metro station is just infront of the hotel. There is a huge department store El Corte Ingles only 5 minutes away. Price-quality relation is excellent, in comparision to many other countries. There was no minifridge in the room. That ia s big problem in a warm city like Lisbon in summer. Breakfast was OK but I'd like to have pork sausages and bacon and eggs too

Excellent hotel as location (metro in the street), prices, breakfast and cleanliness. The room was however quite little. Regarding the staff, not all was kind. For exemple, one evening I requested an alarm clock for the following morning and they didn't do it. When I told this to the receptionist he smiled without any word...

We found the staff most helpful. The rooms were warm and comfortable. The taxi service to the airport was prompt and reasonably priced. We would stay there again.

The room was clean and provided enough space, with a desk, chair and flat-panel TV mounted in front of the bed. I arrived late so when I ordered room service, the man delivering it was grumpy -- and I was the one who got ripped off by a taxicab from the airport (keep away from the blue cabs or vans; they'll try to point out the nearest "attractions" to hike the price up), so my memory is not very happy on this first night of arrival. The breakfast was very good and the dining area was quite roomy. The maid had a bit of trouble cleaning my room the first time I went out so I had to leave it for a bit when I returned. Luckily free wifi kept me company in the lobby (but connection was fine in my room, too). I stayed here because I wanted to see a show in Campo Pequeno, which was walking distance, and there were plenty of shopping malls nearby as well, if you like that sort of thing.

I was very happy with my stay in the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. My only alarm was in being on the 7th floor and I had a huge panic when I looked out of the window as I have a problem with heights!Fortunately I managed to convince myself that I was at a lower level and therefo0re was able to sleep.

We spent one week in Lisboa and this hotel was realy great choice. Location near Gulbenkian museum, very near tu metro and aerobus stations. Very helpful service at the reception desk, they provided us all informations about places we wish to see. They booked for us a car in good price. The room clean and pleasure, very good and quality breakfast. I can reccomend to stay there absolutely.

Hotel was excellent value for money. Nicely located. Friendly competent staff. Good breakfast. 30 minutes plus walk to Rossio. Be careful about the difference in price between special hotel taxis and regular taxis.

The hotel was in a nice location. It is located closely to public transport and a very nice shopping mall. The staff was friendly and informative. The neighborhood felt safe. You had to pay to use the computer with internet access which I think should be free of charge.

Went for a concert of my favourite rock band. Had to antecipate check-in twice and people there were very cooperative. The same with calling me taxis and even providing a snack because I didn´t have time to have lunch. The room was very spacious, although the scenery you could see from the window was'nt great... But the price was very attractive!

We had a nice and comfortable room with balcony. Hardly any noise from surrounding rooms (occupied)- we felt very private. All floors are equipped with surveilance cameras which are monitored at reception. Continental breakfast buffet was good - several sorts of rolls, cakes, cereals, yoghurt, fruits(canned).

We arrived very early at the Hotel and were told booking in would only be possible after 12 noon. We were allowed to leave our luggage in the foyer and go sight seeing. because we were exhausted from the trip we opted to sit in the lounge. After sitting and staring at reception for over 2 hours and with no effort from reception we eventually asked them at 12.30pm if our room was ready. Had we not go up and asked them we would still of been sitting their today. very dissappointing. On a good note we would like to commend Nelson and Nonnie for excellent service and reception pity they were not on duty on our arrival. the rest have got a lot to learn.

We booked 1 room for 2 adults and 2 adult children. Upon arrival, the room was already set up with 2 twins and 2 smaller cots and there was still plenty of room for lots of luggage and walking room. One elevator was out of service and the remaining one was extremely small. They have an underground pay parking area but I found a space for our car on the median directly in front of the hotel for free. Overall we were very pleased with the hotel and booked one addional night preceding out departure from Lisbon. The staff were great, the metro is near by, and it is not far from the airport. There are several reasonably priced restaurants very close by. The Angolan soccer team was there during our stay so apparantly the hotel can accommodate large groops as well.

The relationship between price/quality was quite well in my case of a special offer, e.g. 65 Euro per douple room. The normal price in my opinion is too high. The service is very good, the rooms clean, the standart at a normal level. At the time (July 2007) the construction of the metro makes more or less noise (depend on the room). The breakfast is the same all the days - not so nice for a longer stay. There are no eggs, but the other things are very good. I would choose the same hotel for my next stay, but only if I will get again such a special offer and I'm there for working, e.g. don't want to stay the whole day in the room.

1. At this time there is a digging under the street for the metro in front of the hotel 2. The hotel is located in a very good area close to the metro and very easy to go to the airport 3. The staff are very good and kind and very helpful 4. At the shopping center near the hotel there is a KOSHER food 5. The metro is going strait to the old city at Baixa on the blue line

The staff was very helpful with directions, recommendations, etc. The continential breakfast in the mornings was more than sufficient. The location is mediocre and very quiet at night and not many options for restaurants late in the evening. There are some decent department stores for shopping. The hotel is also located next to a great museum (Calouste) and near the metro which gets you to the Baxia-Chiado stop in 5-10 minutes. However, it is not across the street from the bus map as the website had indicated and is actually quite confusing to find. It is still a quick bus ride or cab ride from the airport. For the price, this is a great deal and worth the out-of-the-way location due to the access to public transportation.

According to this site all rooms are connected to internet. But it is a total lie. Internet is not be connected in a room. One has to go down to a lobby and there is one chair and desk. Only one man in a hotel can use internet. Unbelievable!!! Venere.com!!! Make sure that advertisements of this hotel is true or not before making money!!

No complaints really, maybe the receptionist was on the cold side and so a bit unwelcoming. Turned out breakfast was included in the price, although this wasn't clear before it didn't appear on the bill. Low mark for surroundings as there were roadworks/building works at the time.

Good hotel, nice staff, rooms and bar. Slightly outside but well connected by bus no.742 (i think!) Venere needs to have better directions to the accomodation as is very hard when arriving by train/ plane and we needed to get a taxi.

Great service at our arrival, very helpful and proper staff... Close to to the metro and buses. 15 min. to the centre of the city by metro. It's possible to access internet in the lobby. You must pay for 1 hour - 5 euro - at the time of our stay. Allthough i think i saw a WiFi sign at the front desk. The included continental buffet was fair. Close to the hotel there is an excellent supermarket in the bottom of a shopping centre (Corte Ingles) All put together, we had a very nice stay - 2 nights - and will definitely recommend it.
