Fontana Park Hotel - Lisbon

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel very much. If people don't like the color black they should better not choose this hotel. Even the tablecloth in the breakfest room were black. Also the ceiling, walls and chairs (without any daylight). But this was this only thing that I didn't like. Very nice is the little garden with nice furniture and lounge music everywere you go. The bedrooms have enough daylight.

After we were disappointed of Hotel Via Diplomatico ,we booked through Venere two normal double rooms for us and our friends. Hotel is extreme modern and brand new (less than one year old). Mostly Black and fewer white colors is the decoration of the hotel. As you go out of the elevator you are in a completely black narrow and low illuminated aisle. The Normal rooms are very small and poor equipped .Only a very poor quality Plastic chair to sit and very small closet. Beds are large and comfortable. Bathroom equipment is poor and bad feeling environment due to the low illumination and the black color all over the bathroom walls furniture and glasses. Hydraulic accessories in the bath and lavatory are very modern but useless. Water pressure adjustment is impossible so the guest is obliged to use always the highest water pressure. No towel hangers are exist so, there is no place to hang the towels to dry and use them. Due to black colors and low illumination there is no way the bathroom mirror to be used . There is not either a mirror in to the room place. The rooms were smelt very bad due to the walls fresh paint and the synthetic carpets. Air condition was not function and we were ready to leave the hotel immediately. After complaining the stuff offered to us the superior rooms in same price level. Room was more comfortable but the Bathroom environment and problems the same The Hotel back side rooms balcony are very small (you cannot even have a chair) looking on a terrace (paint black too) from which is coming the noise of the central air system. The front side rooms are looking to the central foods market . During 06.00am the market is starting work and a lot of noise from trucks and employers is obliging the guest to close the "limited only 20cm opened" window. Breakfast room environment (in the first base floor -1) was terrible bad as all (walls, chairs, tables and table covers etc) are BLACK. Illumination is low and there is not any nature lig
