Very nice hotel. We had a view to main street, which was nice. And the room wasn't too noisy anyway, because there was a extra door in front of window door to be closed. Staff was very kind and breakfast ok

Nice hotel located in a historical building, in the central and luxury street of Avenida da Liberdade, just 10-15 minutes walk from Rossio Square. Metro and bus stop (included Aerobus91 to the airport) in front of the hotel. Good breakfast and friendly staff. I suggest trying the cervejaria opposite the hotel, near the cinema: good and cheap typical Portuguese food.

Rooms quite small but well furnished and perfect for the price. We had one room wiyhout view and another one (in a second step) with a view on the city. The location is perfect, quite near the center of Lisbon by feet.

Great room and especially great staff assistance - they are warm and helpful. Really made our stay wonderful. Recommendations are great! ~thank you Paul and Luis!!! But since the walls are a bit thin, it is quite noisy if staying near the front desk or kitchen area. Otherwise, it's a value and great stay!

The first time in Lisbon so the first hotel tried in the city, but it's worth of a choice of location. Central position (just a few minutes by walk to Rossio railway station, Praca dos restauradores, Hard Rock cafe, etc.). Not the cheaper hotel in the city, I suppose, but good quality and the free airbus service is very useful.

I booked a double room and I was offered (the 201) with direct access to the hall .. practically the service room of the maitre d'hotel. I refused and I was given a double. The bathroom was blind and in front of the bedroom window there was a very noisy air conditioner.

Very good place! For people who want to be quiet calm. Not recommended for young revelers who disturb everyone. Impeccable service. On a wide avenue like the Champs Elysees in Paris, but much less touristy and a lot greener. The view from a room on the floor above the trees and into the Tagus (left) is great, overlooking the avenue. You can leave your luggage to keep the last day after leaving the room, not negligible. You can enter at any time at the hotel 24/24 there is always someone to welcome you. The journey from airport to hotel and back is included in the price (note: ticket request by mail prior to the hotel, and the return ticket when leaving the hotel). AeroBus and the Metro station Avenida 20 meters. Bairro Alto and Baixo Chiada 15min walk. The only tiny black dot, we were also near the entrance to the hallway, slamming if it is not so great when holding it likes to sleep late in the morning .. If you do not like being disturbed by noise, also asking not to be overlooking the avenue because it is a major thoroughfare with traffic, but to endure.

I strongly recomend this hotel in Lisbon. It is located near Marques de Pombal Square and some of the main touristic points. Besides that, it offers breakfast and the treatment of guests by the satff is very respectful and kind.

We're a young couple, especially looking for cleanliness of the sheets and bathroom. We're very satisfied about that. The position is very near (by walk) to the major tourist attractions, or if you prefer you can take metro and busses at the metro/bus stop next to the hotel. We suggest this hotel also for a long staying holiday. Breakfast is so so, but it has to be told it's also very cheap.

The hotel was very run down and rooms were small with paper thin walls. The bed linens were not very clean and the bathrooms tiny with almost no hot water or water pressure. I would not recommend this hotel, it was not worth the cost.

The overall package was very good. But there was real confusion regarding the courtesy transfer service. There does not seem to be a clear procedure for securing this service.I am not sure if there is an actual service. We phoned from the airport and the hotel asked if we had a voucher for the journey. Apparently we should have had the voucher beforehand. There is no mention of this when you go through the booking procedure. I would very strongly advise anyone wishing to try and use the service to get in telephone contact with the hotel. Do not rely on an e.mail being successful! We are both in our mid seventies and we struggle to walk with luggage, but there was no offer of assistance when we eventually checked in. The hotel itself was very good value and there are no complaints of the whole service once we had booked in.The breakfast buffet was always well presented and ideal.

We booked one day in advance after deciding at the last minute to stay in Lisbon for an extra couple of nights. The website said we were booking a double room, but were given a twin, which isn't really an issue. The breakfast was nice - especially the cake! When we asked about the airport shuttle, we were told to catch the AeroBus from a stop outside the hotel, which costs about €3 per person, so not free. The location is an upmarket shopping street, so quiet at night, but not too far to walk to the main attractions (Bairro Alto, Baixa, Chiado). Very close to a Metro and several bus stops. Room was cosy enough, with a tiny bath but a really good shower! NB they don't yet have a Chip & PIN system for card payments.

The building is under repair, so some rooms have a terrific view and it isn't nice to open the window. We asked to be moved to another room, which they did the following day. the shuttle is out of service after 20,45 pm, so we had to take a taxi when we arrived. For the departure we were to take the shuttle in the morning (every 20 minutes) but we waited more than an hour with no success. We had to take a taxi not to lose our flight

Don't take the room 210, it's just next to the kitchen and very noisy. Happily, they found us an other room the next night and it was quiet. The hotel is a little bit too far from the interesting area if you like to walk. But, there's a metro station very close. In 2-3 stations, you are in the center of the city. The room was not very spacious, but it's clean. Not a lot of restaurants close to the hotel. You have to walk 10 minutes to find them. Not a lot of variety for the breakfast, but it's ok.

Rapporto qualità/prezzo buono in riferimento all'offerta sul web (47 Euro). Vicinissimo a numerosi teatri.

We were there in October. Cooler than in summer and so windows could be shut to reduce city noise at night. A great location to base a short city stay here. Walkable to most places and in a secure feeling neighbourhood. Excellent value with wholesome and generous breakfasts. Simple but very clean rooms and friendly obliging staff. We liked staying here very much. One gripe? I wish they'd get some new, better pillows! Both my wife and I had stiff necks for 3 days after our return home due to sleeping on lumpy, unsupportive pillows. Otherwise, excellent!

The room was an internal one near the kitchen so little external light and a bit too much noise. The room was nicely decorated, clean, good bathroom but quite basic. If you're planning to spend your time sightseeing and not too much time in the room, it is a good choice.

The room was sufficient but it was close to the breakfast area and loud at 6:30 a.m. as staff set-up for breakfast. In the shower, temperature fluctuations were continuous between scalding and freezing and presented a challenge to safely shower. Water pressure was excellent and the bathroom was one of the nicest we had during our trip throughout Portugal. The breakfast had bread, processed ham slices, plain cheese, yogurt and cereal. Fruit would have been a good addition. Our room didn't have the mini-bar and the view was of the building behind the hotel. I've found that booking online at some of these hotels will be you a good room price, but one of the lesser quality rooms available. The staff was gracious and helpful and even tried to get us a bucket of ice - which actually resulted in a small cup of ice - but we appreciated their effort nonetheless.
