the staff were very helpfull sand considerate. The standard of the hotel was excellent. I have already recommended it to others.

Standard rooms, but noisy from the very busy traffic in the crossing near-by. But very close to the Metro and not far from the centre even for walking.

We had a really nice stay and felt very welcomed! At the arrival we found a tray of pasteis de nata in our room, and on the evening before easter we found sweets and a chocolate egg for our son. The beds were comfy.

I stayed in a very tiny room - there was really only room for a king-sized bed. But the hotel is excellent. It's in a corner just off the main drag so it's quiet, yet only a half block from the subway. The breakfast was lavish and diverse and the employees were very helpful. The hotel is modern, immaculate and tastefully decorated. It seems to cater mostly to business people who expect a certain level of service, so that was fine with me.

Good, clean & comfortable hotel in reasonable location (15-20 mins) walk to city center)

Absolutely fabulous location. The metro was so close! Breakfast buffet was enormous, staff was great. While our room was clean, etc., there was this huge post at the foot of our bed, which made the room smaller.

hotel posizionato ottimamente, centrale e collegatissimo (bus e metro). ottimo breakfast. unico neo: la camera molto piccola e con un pilastro centrale che la rende usufruibile con difficoltà. qualche sbavatura nel rigovernare la stanza.

Located in city centre within 5 minutes walk to the metro; large room, quiet and helpful staff . Enjoy the breakfast as well.

A good place to stay. The room was not too loud in the night. The location is really good, close to the metro (3 stops to downtown or only 15 minutes walk on the shady avenida). Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our stay in this hotel was very confortable. Big room, good breakfast, hotel is less than 100m far from underground stop (3 stops from center). It is also close to Hertz office if you need to return a car without having to go to the airport. If I'll go to Lisbon in the future, for sure I take in consideration to book a room in this hotel again.

Good location (50 mt away from underground station). Good room and breakfast. Prices are low if reservation is made long before the stay.

L'hotel è vicinissimo ad una stazione della metro che si trova a solo tre fermate dal centro. Le camere sono spaziose e pulite, siamo stati benissimo. Raccomandiamo questo hotel

Great location near public transport. Very good breakfast buffet included. But small rooms and somewhat dated carpet. A good value at the Venere.com price, but certainly not at the standard posted prices.

Overall, a very nice hotel. Great location just off Marques de Pombal at the top of Avenida Liberdade - only 3 metro stops from centre.

We booked a double room but were given two single beds pushed together. There were rooms with one double bed but perhaps because we checked in early we got two singles pushed together. It wasn't a big problem but might dampen a romantic night! The breakfast buffet was great and the staff were very helpful. It's a good hotel in a good location at a good price. I'd stay there again.

This hotel was well situated 3km from the city centre, 100m from a metro station, 300m from the Aerobus to the airport. Set back from the street by a small park. Room was new, very clean, with two single beds. The breakfast was excellent. This hotel was everything I could want, at a good price. I will definitely stay there again when I return to Lisbon.

Very nice hotel at a good price compared to others when I did my search. Very nice staff and a good breakfast. I would stay there again and do recommend it. It's less that a minute from the Metro station, so that's a bonus.

Great place, only comment is concerning the heating/air conditioning. It was unseasonably warm in Lisbon during our stay. The entire hotel's system is either heat or air conditioning, it is not selectable from the room (even though there is a thermostat on the wall in the room). Consequently, we had to sleep with the windows open, an the street noise was a little bothersome. Otherwise a fantastic place to stay for the price.

This is certainly a 5 star hotel with 3 star prices. The staff were wonderful, the rooms were just perfect and the Breakfast was lovely-you must try the custard tarts!! 2 minutes from the subway station so the hotel is in an ideal location to explore Lisbon.

We stayed twice on our trip and would stay again. We were impressed by the attentiveness of staff. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well equipped. There was ample choice at breakfast and the facilities were fine. Centrally located from a tourist viewpoint. The Hotel provided us with parking space. We travelled with another couple who were equally pleased.

A gem of a hotel, and quite a bargain at that! Great location, off the major square/thoroughfare, in a quiet neigbourhood. The room was huge, well appointed, bathroom spaceous, plenty of closet space. A good breakfast included, Internet accessible in the room, although pricey and difficult to navigate on TV with wireless keyboard and no mouse - guess, that's the common arrangement nowadays. One can use the proper set-up in the lounge, but exorbitantly expensive, seems to be usual practice in hotels all over Europe. Would definitely go back!

Staff was generally accommodating and efficient. Rooms were well apppointed but not spacious. Welcome was wonderful with an unexpected basket of fruit and bottle of water awaiting us in our room. We asked for and received a "quiet" room in the back, but soundproofing was less effective than we had hoped. The location was excellent, right across the street from the metro.

We enjoyed our stay. We were upgraded on arrival and the room was fine. We transferred from the airport by the Aerobus which stopped quite close by. Reception staff were very helpful, especially with trying to sort out our onward transport. Breakfast was adequate but not great. The 'Coffee' was truely awful - the worst we have ever had anywhere in the world!!! It was barely warm whether you were first or last down to breakfast. Apart from that though we would certainly recommend the hotel.

It was my first time in Portugal, it took me a long time to decide on a hotel, and I was glad Dom Carlos Park turned out to be what I wanted, the price was reasonable, the location was great, it was next to the metro and within 5 mins walk of the bus. Not to mention the breakfast included with the hotel, it was great :) In total, this is a great choice for travellers!!

This hotel was great and we would highly recommend it. It was our honeymoon and they found out. We had barely arrived in our room and they knocked on our door. They brought us up a bottle of champagne and chocolates. It was a great suprise! The hotel is in a great location. They also gave us great recommendations for a restaurant close by to the hotel. At the time we were there they were doing construction on the hotel and the restaurant in the hotel was in a different location. But the waiter was very accomodating and the food served was delicious.

I thought the hotel was well situated being very close to the metro that got us into the centre of town in 5 minuties. Thr rooms were moderm and clean. The only disapointment was the breakfast area, it was really small and we had to que at times to get food. The room seened fiar to small for the size of the hotel. Apart from this we had a lovely stay.

Many things are very wrong with this Hotel: No garage, oh yeah!, they have one garage but you have to walk 100 m and then pay 10 EUR / night??? The Internet in the room costs 12,50 EUR/hour ?!?! what kind of price is this? There was too much noise in the Hotel, I was awaken several times during the night, no respect at all. First thing in the mornig arrounf 6:30 AM they began banging the walls?!?! what is wrong with this Hotel!!!, are they Crasy?? My advise, if you are in Lisbon, please get as far as you can from this Hotel, you will thank me!

This was the best accomodation we stayed at in our entire holiday. The staff was very service-oriented and competant. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast (included) was quite good. The hotel was also very close to a Metro stop. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay there again if we return to Lisbon.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Very nice and helpful staff, location is excellent. The breakfast buffet could be better. The only drawback is finding the place. You cannot get to the place directly from the street rather go around take a side street.

fast to be reached from the airport (20 minutes taking bus 22), located next to pombal marquez with two subway-lines crossing there, friendly atmosphere, clean rooms, mostly quiet (take care not to sleep next to the elevators!), this hotel offers you everything you are looking for, except one thing: good coffee ;) - but even my friends and I (born into the Viennese "Kaffehaus"-tradition) survived ;)

Fantastic Value ! Welcoming, friendly and very efficient staff, keen to help and make sure our stay was enjoyable. Rooms comfortble and hotel in great location, literary 4 mins walk from pick-up / drop-off points for airport bus and close to rail links too. Located on main thoroughfare and close to centre of city. Generous and enjoyable hot and cold buffet breakfast-something for everyone. Thoroughly enjoyable trip made better by quality and value of this hotel. Highly recommended - will visit again.
