Take premium room with terrace....superbe view!!!!!

Very nice hotel with very nice location. I will stay here next time to Lisbon

This was an excellent hotel, but nowadays it needs a strong maintenance program, including furniture, painting and, of course, redirecting the core business of the hotel. The hotel tkinks that is a convention centre and not a hotel. The guests are not the reason of its existing. So everything is done to made all the troubles and noises according to help the fashion events and so one. The breakfast is the same from years. There is no diet products ( any one ! ) The tables are not clean after the guests went out.

I've been there 4 times in 2 occasions. There are high speed wi-fi in the rooms. The rooms are quite enormous and the bed is very good. The bathroom is big. But the service..... The housekeeping service is poor. We were 2 in the room, but there were only 1 towel in one day and in the other, no towel ! Only one soap. But as I complained, the things went right in minutes. ( Special thanks to Alberto, that is a special employee with excelent manners and absolutely helpful ) They gave us upgrade to a room ( 609 ) too large with an extraordinary 180 grade balcony ! Another weak point, and this is an important point, is the temperature in the room. We've been only in winter and the rooms were freezing. The air don't work at all ! ( as I read in some reviews, and imagine also, in the summer the things probably are too hot ! ) The excuse is that the conditioned air works according to the mall hours ( there is a mall at the side of the hotel ) and only works with their operation hours... I never saw this ! The coffee break is excellent and the staff there ( in the coffeebreak room ) was professional and efficient at all. The ambient music is delightful ! I will return and stay there again and again ( only in the winter ! )

Die Restauranttips der Rezeption waren hervorragend, der Frühstücksraum war von der Lage/Aussicht her wunderschön, das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, die Aussicht vom Zimmer war gigantisch - ich glaube jedes Zimmer hat diese Aussicht, weil die Zimmer erst ab dem 5./6. Stock losgehen - insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

It was our third time in this hotel. Although it is still a good one and worth the price, it was somewhat downgraded. The air conditioning, for instance, was poor and it got worse during the night. The rooms, carpeting etc are the same for more than three years now, maybe an uplifting is needed. Nevertheless, the location and the view are unbeatable. And the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Spacious rooms. Excellent location. Aircondintioning didn't work. The staff gave us another room. The window could be opened, the airco blowed, but didn't cool. The plug in the bath was missing and it took the staff one full day to replace it.

The reception staff was most helpfull! The location is excellent! The terrace outside has a magnificent view, yet is not apparent if you do not search for it. To get coffee there in the morning is somewhat combersome. The heating and light in our room was inadequate.

We were in Lisbon for a week and stayed in a premier room which had a great terrace with fabulous views of Sao Jorge Castle. The hotel is located close to a metro station and is ideal for sightseeing, restaurants and nightlife. There was a noise problem one night with the air conditioning but in fairness to the management they moved us on request and reduced my bill for that night. For a 4 star hotel I expected a hairdryer and some of the towels were quite worn but the view, terrace and location made up for it.

Comfortable Hotel in a very central location to explore Lisbon.Good buffet breakfast, and bar menu looked nice, but Hotel is so cental for central Lisbon that we ate out in restaurants in the area during our stay.My wife enjoyed the shopping!

O local não poderia ser melhor! Entre a Baixa e o Chiado, praticamente dentro de um shopping center e em cima da estação do metro. Todas as atrações centrais podem ser alcançadas a pé, além de excelentes restaurantes e lojas muito chiques a apenas alguns passos. Alguns quartos têm varanda e vale a pena pagar a diferença do preço. O hotel oferece uma vista inesquecível da cidade, como se estivéssemos no elevador de Santa Justa. Café da manhã farto e de boa qualidade; quarto limpo e de bom tamanho; pessoal de staff muito atencioso. Certamente recomendamos o hotel. Nos hospedaremos lá novamente quando voltarmos à Lisboa.

The room was small,the window also,i hardly had place to move,but the location was excelent.Also the bar.Anyway this hotel doesn't deserve 4 stars,after this i booked a much better one also 4 stars,but cheaper.The lounge and the reception are very small either.Over all,I dont recomend this hotel.

Anyone wanting a quality small hotel situated right in the centre of Lisbon will not be disappointed with the Regency Chiado. Caters well for both business and leisure travellers. Garden terrace rooms are spacious and offer an outstanding view of the city - an excellent place to relax after sightseeing! Although there is no full restaurant the bar snacks are varied, well presented and imaginative.

Location of the hotel is execllent - but surroundings are very noisy - hotel is in the upper floors of a shopping mal. Breakfast buffet below standard. No reply on e-mail to hotel.
