Although the room was a bit small and left little space to walk around, it was very comfortable. The bed was large and very high standard as regards to cleanliness. Good location as metro located at the entrance to the hotel and also bus stop right around the corner. This makes access from airport and city centre very convenient. Breakfast was good considering the price of the room. The breakfast room was a bit small as I had to return since there was no place available for me to sit. One of the guys tending the breakfast was nice though.

Very well localizated hotel. Small apartment but clean and comfortable, very good relationship between price and quality. We stayed at the 1st floor, upon a corner with intensive traffic, but didn't heard the street noise.

We were a party of 3 ladies on vacation together in Portugal & Spain. The America Diamond's Hotel had very friendly and helpful staff that spoke very good English. The room we had was a little small a double with an extra bed but the price was very reasonable. Breakfast buffet was included in the price so this made the value at this hotel very good. There were shops close by to enable us to buy wine, take out food, fruit etc. The Hotel was a 10 min ride on the metro to downtown/historic centre. The metro was right outside the entrance to the Hotel.

My husband and I stayed here on our last night in Lisbon - we wanted somewhere closer to the airport and this hotel is on the Aerobus line. The location for business travelers and the airport was great but the location for travelers interested in seeing the main sites was mediocre as it was a 25-30 minute walk to Rossio/Baixa. This hotel is on a metro line but you need to change lines to get to the main sites. We were there on a Sunday night and there were NO open restaurants within 5 blocks of this hotel. The room itself was a little small but very nice with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. It was quiet and we were not disturbed. Breakfast was nice with lots of food and coffee. Finally, the staff were knowledgeable and helpful.

Bad: Marble everywhere, and this makes the room extremely cold. The knob of the shower remained in my hands, so I did not know how to close the hot water! Really noisy, I could hear people talking from the other rooms, water flushing, their showers. The corridors were so narrow that my luggage did not pass properly. The elevator at the ground floor accessible with a stair of 8 steps! (imagine with a heavy luggage). Breakfast ok. Metro outside the hotel, luckily. Internet Wireless ok. In conclusion, it was not bad for only 1 night, but I would not rated it as a 4 stars hotel.

Hotel tres estrellas muy correcto y en muy buen estado. Acceso al Metro a 5 metros de la puerta del hotel. Ubicado en el recorrido de tres buses desde el aeropuerto. Supermercado a 150 metros. Unico punto observable: colchon de resortes pero bastante rígido, parece una tontera pero a los dias se nota. Desayuno muy bueno.

The room we received was incredibly small, with scuff marks on the walls and the picture frames were hanging crooked - this isn't something I would usually complain about, but it seemed indicative of the degree of attentiveness to detail that I felt let down by. The bed was very uncomfortable, really hard and both my partner and I woke up sore from it. *IF YOU NEED WI-FI FOR A SMARTPHONE OR HANDHELD DEVICE, THIS HOTEL CANNOT ACCOMODATE YOU* I was told that their wi-fi was intended for laptops and that iPhones and Blackberrys have trouble connecting, which means that you have to pay 2 euros for 15 minutes of internet at one of the 2 computers available in the lobby.

Very nice hotel! I definitely recommend it. In front of a busy avenue, but sound proof walls and windows work very well. I could sleep without any problem. Room was very clean and service was provided every day during our one weed stay. Nice breakfast. Underground station just five steps from the hotel entrance.

Size of the room is ridiculous, it is smaller than tiny, I am quite a petite person and I had challenge navigating this microscopic room. The size of the bed is for a teenager. I know it's the capital, I know it's the city center, and I do compare it to my other tiny rooms in London and Paris. Please change the sizes, it really is very hard to squeeze self and one's CARRY-ON, please, be more considerate of solo travellers!

Hotel location ideal for access to Metro, entrance to Metro immediately outside Hotel entrance.Airport bus stops outside the hotel. The hotel staff were reluctant to switch the air conditioning to cool but we found it too warm to sleep(April weather was warm) and too noisy when the windows were open.Keep asking and they will switch the air conditioning to cool, then the room was ideal. You could hear people in adjacent rooms. The floor in our room was very slippery. The breakfast was included in our price and was good.A few problems but once sorted the Hotel was good.

First room smelt very strongly of smoke, however staff was reluctant to move us to another room and was persistant that it's non-smoking...despite the ash tray in the room! It wasn't until I had said I suffer from asthma did they offer to move our rooms. Once moved, the new room was excellent so no problems after that! Good hotel.

A very nice hotel close to the city center. From the airport it takes about 15 minutes to get there by taxi (and costs about 15 eur). Also you can get the Airport Shuttle Bus that parts every 20 minutes (get down at the Picoas Station). You can easily get in every part of the city using the subway (the Picoas station is literally 3 steps away from the hotel entrance). The rooms are cosy and very clean, the breakfast is served in a nice location at the top floor and the personell is welcoming and polite. If you go to Lisbon make sure you don't miss a visit to Cascais/Estoril and another one to Sintra. I guarantee you it will worth the effort. Don't forget about The Lisbon Card is a must have for all the tourists.

Our biggest complaint was that we reported lights not working and missing bath tap but nothing was done. One guy on the desk actually lied to me telling me that none of the baths had taps but when we returned after a few days away we had another room where the bath tap hadn`t been snapped off. The second room also had about 4 lights not working. I didn`t bother to report this because I knew nothing would be done. In the second room the bath had a tap but the plug wouldn`t stay in So from this point of view I was disappointed that I had to shower and I prefer to have a bath.I was travelling with my husband.

The hotel and the service was generally great, but the breakfast service was a total disaster. Had to queue for 20 minutes just to get a table, which wasn't cleaned / crockery replaced once we sat down. There were no plates available by the buffet, and the staff ignored all requests and were generally rude. What little food was left was very poor quality, and the "cooked" food was cold and swimming in liquid. We were kept awake one night by the music coming from the communal corridor, and it took 3 phone calls to reception to get it turned down / off. Not impressive.

This hotel is exceptionally clean and quiet and the staff is quite helpful with directions and maps of Lisbon. The bathrooms were especially nice as they had clearly been updated recently. There are a nice variety of items served at breakfast (hot and cold) so there is probably something to suit most people. There is a metro stop on the yellow line immediately outside of the lobby door. This is convenient if you are getting around on the metro, although if you want to go into the city center it is necessary to go one stop and switch to the blue line. I didn't try it, but it may be as fast to walk to the blue line station directly. I didn't recommend the hotel for families or mature couples as I had a very small single room and didn't see one of the double rooms. I would definitely stay here again for personal travel where I didn't require any special services.

I very much enjoyed my stay in this hotel. It was close to the city center so I could do everything by foot. The room was not big, but to me, although I did to have to do some work in my room, there was enough space. The bathroom was pure luxury. The hotel is located in a main street, so do not expect the quietness of the woods. You might use earplugs if you want to sleep with your window open. Breakfast was nothing outstanding, but fairly ok. I would always recommend this hotel.

Stayed in Lisbon for a short weekend. This room wouldn't have worked for any longer. it was TINY. the bed took up literally 80% of the room. The bathrooms were fine, and the place generally pretty clean. But there was literally maybe 2 feet between the wall and the end of the bed to walk through. Location is excellent though. literally the train stop (Picoa, yellow line) is outside of the hotel. The metro system is really simple and easy to use, the city isn't very spread out. Inlcuded breakfast was nice though. decent food with crossiants, eggs, bacon juice etc

The hotel is great! All high-class hotels are situated in the district (we were able to see Ritz from our window). The breakfast room is on 7th floor offering panoramic view. The metro station is situated EXACTLY outside the hotel entrance. The bedroom had the emergency exits on a glow-in-the-dark map behind the bedroom door, and the door had an alarm. I had a single room with a lot of space, the room was like the hotel very new. the sourrunding is not really beautiful, but you have a metro entrance right in front of the hotel and need by foot about 20 minutes to the city centre, by metro about 5-10 minutes. I can recommend Lissabon and this hotel warmly, but take care with the taxis from & to the airport (one trip 25€ the other 8€, both in the night!). Lissabon is a very friendly, old fashioned city, with very friendly people, but take care with the bumpy pavements, but don´t forget to drive with one of the old trams

It would have helped with location and travel to have known the name of the metro station outside the front door and the bus numbers and destinations of those passing the hotel. Once known travel within Lisbon was no problem. The ideal location for a short break as not enough room space for a longer holiday.

Modern hotel a few metro stops from central area. The 'modern' style was, however, somewhat sterile. Not sure if the quality of the finish is great and can imagine might look worn in a couple of years. Reception staff competent. Rooms v small as was bed. Breakfast was totally uninspiring. But, however, for the price was satisfactory for the purpose. Venere did seem to have favourable prices compared to some other sites for this hotel at the time of booking.

This hotel is just in front of the metro and a lot of buses also stop in front of the entrance (including buses going to city center and airport). The rooms are very clean with a modern furniture. The breakfast is good but the breakast service needs more organisation (impossible to find a free table at 9am and the waitress did not have time to deserve the tables). The personnel was very good and helpful to show where we are and where we can have a good dinner. The area of the hotel is not in the hypercenter but only 20mn by foot or 10mn by bus. I recommend this hotel.

Totalmente recomendable.

Wen I arrived, I am arranged a room which is not clean up yet. I dont expect the hotel should give me a room like that. really ppor impressive. but after clean up, it is much better. the breakfast is not really good. the location is nice, just next to bus stop and metro station

It's a very nice hotel. Stayed there for 4+1 nights. Excellent location, normal breakfast (nothing too exciting). Staff friendly and helpful. Try to avoid the smaller rooms on the top floor, as the quietness is very poor (we were awakened at 7 am by the neighbor TV viewing, which was very disturbing). Generally good experiences, worth going there.

The hotel was generally very good, especially taking into account the price. It is exactly in front of a metro station, thus it's very easy to move from/to. Unfortunately, differently from the advertisement, the "included internet access" is only available in front of the reception, provided you bring with you not only your laptop but also your own cable! The rooms are quite small, and you could find people from the service entering in without knocking at the door!! But generally, I'd come back again here.

The hotel is well located: the metro stop is just out of the door and the bus to the airport stops at the corner. The city center is not so far by foot too. The rooms are very clean and the building is just renewed, it seems new! Very good!

We have a room on the 6th floor. On the 7th floor is the breakfast room. Because of this it was very noisy in the morning! Otherwise the accommodation was very good! Nice rooms and perfect location beside the metro station.
