About Augustus Hotel Villa

exterior - entrance The Augustus Hotel Villa, formerly an ancient master's villa and now a superior 3 star hotel, is situated 100 metres from the sea and 2 km from the main port with its white sandy beaches. The villa was turned into a hotel in the 1950's, and since then numerous improvements have been made to make the property as comfortable as possible.

It is located in the historic centre of Lipari, near the archaeological museum, and is easily reachable through a typical Eolian street, which leads you to the front of an alley. From here the vault entrance goes through a stone arcade that will take you into a beautiful and refined garden surrounding this charming building.

Transfers from and to the portland shores, bike, scooters and car rental, diving centre activities and sailing-boat service can all be booked at the hotel by credit card.

The villa is run by the owners and is open from March until October.

By Siremar ferry: in the winter departure at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday; in the summer departure at 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday. The arrival time is 9.30 a.m.
By Snav hydrofoil: in June, July, August and September departures at 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. The journey takes 6 hours.

From Reggio Calabria
By Snav hydrofoil: in the winter departure at 1.15 p.m., in the summer departures 5 times a day. The journey takes 1 hour and 15 minutes.

From Palermo
By Snav hydrofoil: in the winter departure at 7 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, arrival at 11.15; in the summer departures at 7 a.m. and 4.45 p.m., arrivals at 11.15 a.m. and 8 p.m.

From Milazzo
By Snav and Siremar hydrofoils, offering daily departures, the journey takes around 1 hour.
