Hotel Monte Baldo - Limone sul Garda

The hotel is in a charming location in the heart of the Limone port area. Not the easiest to get to (free parking nearby is provided) but wonderful once you're there. Our air conditioning kept the room at a comfortable temperature and the facilities were entirely adequate for 3*. We particularly enjoyed breakfast on the balcony with the boats bobbing around in the harbour practically under our feet and the proximity to central Limone. Would definitely return.

The bed and air conditioning were not good in the room. Bed mattress was old (I could feel the springs in my back). But, breakfast was very nice and the room view to the lake amazing.

Absolutely wonderful hotel in the most perfect location. I have stayed in 4/5* hotels around the lake but this beats them all without a doubt. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend. Perfect location, friendly staff, wonderful restaurant and cosy, well appointed rooms (the website photos do not do the rooms justice!). Simply perfect.

A friendly welcome on arrival and the room was comfortable, with a small balcony and a lovely view of the little harbour and the lake. The hotel is located in a pedestrianised area in the centre of town. We were able to park in a little square about 100 metres from the hotel to unload our luggage, but the garage parking was some way away - a good 5 minutes walk. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Food in the restaurant on the first floor was very good, with good fish from the lake. There was a busy bar on the ground floor but this did not disturb us at all as our room was on the second floor facing the lake. Definitely catering for romantics with the beautiful setting and the peace and quiet.

Fantastic room overlooking harbour, with balcony; very clean rooms/shower area/toilet...all round excellent facilities...staff very friendly...will definetely stay at this hotel when next visiing Limone, hopefully later this year.

I would preffer a room with sea view

The writeup on the Monte Baldo on the website does not do justice to this magnificent little family run hotel. Its position is the best possible in Limone. It is impeccably maintained. The hotel looks as if it has been recently refurbished. If you have a room with a view of the lake you really have it all because not only is it spectacular but you can throw an apple from your balcony into the lake which goes to show how close you are to the water.

We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in het hotel, personeel en de eigenaren zijn zeer gastvrij en behulpzaam. We zaten op de 2e verdieping met mooi uitzicht over het meer. Enig minpuntje, de balkons zijn erg krap. We hadden graag een van de twee terassen gehad maar die waren helaas al bezet. De plek is fantastisch.

A wonderful little hotel in an idyllic spot. The photographs of the room on the website (their website included)don't do them justice. I would highly recommend this hotel and will be returning next year.

I was visiting Hotel Monte Baldo with my wife and my parents. My wife and me was staying in a superior lake view room, which is really reccomendable. The view and atmosphere of this room was amasing. The staff was very service minded and their restaurant served nice contemporary food. We can onlåy recommend this place, when you are staying at the Lake Garda.

Stayed for two nights in this lovely hotel. Dined both nights at the hotel restaurant, which is by far the best restaurant in Limone. The hotel has been beautifully refurbished and rooms with a balcony or terrace give lovely views over Lake Garda. Hotel was excellent value for money.

We were satisfied with the whole performance of the entire staff from the reception to the waiting staff at the restaurant. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a quiet, stylishly decorated and very well kept hotel in a charming village.

The setting was magnificent, far exceeding our expectations. Our lake-side room had a balcony right over a lovely little harbor. The staff was the most gracious and helpful of those we encountered in our 3-week trip.

We stayed in Limone sul Garda in Hotel Monte Baldo for 2 nights during our vacation and the only thing I can say - everything was excellent! The hotel, the small city, the lake, the mountains... incredible. I have been in different countries and places, but this city was like a fairytale, so beautiful and a little bit unreal...
