Nice Hotel in Miraflores, realy good staff, and nice bedrooms. The location is good by the sea, but the city center of Lima is far away. Anyway the Miraflores area is nice with may way to entertain. A really nice place with a beautiful decoration

Excellent hotel at reasonable price in Miraflores. Five blocks from the ocean and restaurants. We had a great stay at this hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Some rooms on the street are a bit noisy . Ask for the rear portion of the hotel.

We were six staying at Hotel El Ducado. The rooms were quiet as they faced the beautiful courtyard, that in my opinion is the only highlight of the property. The room decoration and the bathroom is old but clean. Also there is no elevator so is a little bit unconfortable to carry luggage. The hotel is in a safe residential area very close to Larcomar shopping wich has a variety of restaurants, bar, the gold museum and shops, but is about 20 minutes ride from historic center and other touristic spots.

Great location, a few stores near by and very close to the shopping mall. Great internet speed and the rooms are fine. They could offer the pick up at the airports at no cost, that would be a big plus.

The hotel is a few blocks from Larcomar, which is an outdoor mall area with restaurants and clubs. The beaches nearby are not very clean. The hotel is very good with calling for cabs, however the price is a little higher that if you got a cab off the streets. The breakfast was descent, which consisted of bread, jam, butter, coffee, and juice. There is free wifi in the lobby and a computer that is free to use as well. Overall a good experience, clean hotel in a relatively good location. Would recommend for anyone staying in Miraflores.

This was my first visit to Lima, and we stayed only one night. The hotel was ok, people nice, location good. Anyhow, I would like to point out a few things: - no air conditioning - very small room - electric installations didn't look too safe... I would recommend the hotel if you search something economic in a nice neighbourhood and you are not too picky.

We've been there in two different occasions. None of the rooms had air conditioners. In the first time the room was very small and in the second stay, the room faced the street and was very noisy. Nevertheless, is a very reasonable hotel (for the price), very well located, and I would certainly return if I came back to Lima. The hotel has, perhaps, a restriction to elder people as it has four levels and no elevators.

The hotel was almost empty when we checked in after midnight on Nov 28th. We were only spending a few hours there between flights and needed some sleep. We were given the room directly over the lobby and front door facing the noisy street below. We ordered a wake-up call but it was not needed when a car alarm went off just outside the window 20 mins before our wake-up time. We weren't asleep anyway. We had pre-paid for airport pickup but they tried to charge again. They quickly credited the charge when challeged.

Hotel was OK but the service was pretty poor. The room facilities were at a bare minimun and you had to ask if you wanted anything additional (e.g. only one towel per person, only one pillow, no extra blankets in room, no heating in room until you asked for it). We recommend strongly the suites... far better value for money although equipment still very basic. They made our double bed with single sheets and blankets which were hardly adequate to provide cover.

The location of the hotel was excellent. However, I was a bit disappointed with the room. It was a on the drab side.

My room was upgraded from a single to a suite, including living, dining and kitchen areas which was a pleasant surprise; however,my room was not cleaned or my bed made by hotel staff during my two night stay, and although I reported early in the morning that the bathroom light was not working, it was never fixed. Generally, I found the staff pleasant and the dining room service polite and efficient. The location is good in that the neighbourhood is relatively upscale and close to Larco Mar and Ave. Larco.

For the peruvian standard is a very expensive location, but it's clean and it's in a central and quite zone. The rooms are not large and the double bed is like a single one. The employees are very kind and there's a free internet point.
