There was no mention of having to book an evening meal when we booked via internet. The hotel tried to charge us a different price to the one quoted and agreed on the internet. The rooms we had asked for were changed to two double bedroom not suitable for older mixed aged children travelling with parents. Nice staff helpful. Rooms clean and tidy. Location very morbid in the middle of a university campus with lots of closed off roads. Probably very busy in term time very very remote in summer holiday time.

Basic but functonal hotel. Note that the location is some way from Lile, and there is quite a walk from metro station to hotel across a dark park - not good at night

This was the only family room we would secure in the area (as many hotels strangely only allowed one small child in a room with tow parents). Hidden amongst the campus area there was a 20 minute drive to the main busy shopping mall and 5 minute drive to another for dinner as the hotel restaurant is closed some days (best to check). Breakfast was nice and the rooms were clean in the new hotel although we could hear other guests early in the morning from our room. Staff were very nice.

Some rooms feature a balcony.

By carFrom Lille or Paris take the Cité Scientifique exit and follow straight on. Continue ahead after the traffic lights and turn left at the roundabout.
From Valenciennes or Brussels, take the Cité Scientifique exit and follow straight after the stop sign. Then take the second street on your right and then the first to the left.
From Roubaix or Tourcoing, take the Cité Scientifique exit and follow until the stop sign. Turn right there, take the first to the left and then the second to the right and finally the first to the left.
