How to reach Cathedral Lodge Hotel

By car
From North-West, take the A34 to Stone, then the A51 through Rugeley and follow the signs for Lichfield. You will approach a large traffic island with the Bowling Green in the centre. Take the first exit, and then the first exit again leading into Swan Road. Where the road bends left carry straight along the road, passing the Cathedral. The Cathedral should be close on your right hand side. Take the 3rd exit on your right hand side into Anson Avenue and the hotel car park is the first on the left.

From South-West, take the M5 until meets the M6 travelling north and continue on the M6 until junction 10 for Walsall. Follow the signs for Lichfield - A461. There are no turn-off until you reach a large island with the Bowling Green in the middle. Take the second exit from the island and then the first exit and follow directions as above.

From South-East, take the M6 until it meets the M42 then travel north on the M42 and take the exit A446 which goes past the Belfry Golf Course on the right. You will come to a traffic island, take the northbound A38 to Lichfield. Stay on the A38 until the second island and then turn right onto the A5206 London Road, which leads to the A51 and Lichfield city centre. At the second set of traffic lights turn left. Follow the road to an island and turn right. There will be a large island with the Bowling Green in the middle. Take the third exit and then the first exit at the next island and follow directions as above.

By train
From Lichfield train station, cross the road at the pedestrian crossing with Ford garage on your left, turn left at the traffic lights and continue along the path until you reach Jaymans estate agents on the corner, cross the road and continue along the street passing the shops until a pool (minster pool) on your right hand side, continue straight passing the Cathedral on your right, as you approach the top of the road you will see the Cathedral Lodge Hotel on the corner of Anson Avenue.

By airplane
Nearest Airport is Birmingham International, take train to Birmingham New Street station, then train to Lichfield City, then follow directions as above.
