Nice room, difficult to park ones car. Room was on 4th floor without lift. For such a room heavily overpriced. They showed us a room on the 3rd floor but decoration was nott to our liking. Breakfast OK but too expensive. Hotel very near to highly recommended Museum of Prehistoric.

The room was small and overfurnished for its size which made for quite close quarters indeed. The stairs were poorly lit and somewhat difficult for my wife with an arthritic knee to negotiate. The tub had a shower but no bracket on the wall to hang it on. The breakfast buffet was overpriced. The staff was friendly, very helpful, and spoke fluent English. The location is good, on the Vezere River, across the street from the Prehistory Museum and a friendly brasserie where petit dejeuner could be had for "5 euros compleat." Parking is available and the grounds and patio cafe are quite nice.
