Quindi consigliatissimo!

This hotel was exactly as advertised. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The view from our room was incredible! The hotel was right on the beach, and the room itself was very spacious and extremely clean. The bathroom was a little small but it was no problem for us. Our room was right next to the breakfast room, but we experienced very little noise in the morning. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is just a short walk from the town of Lerici, which was perfect because it was very quiet at night but we could spend the day in town. There is ferry access on the water front to Cinque Terre for a very reasonable price. The ferry stops at 4 of the 5 towns on a regularly scheduled basis so you can come and go as you please from each of the towns. I would highly recommend this hotel! It was our best experience on our 10-day trip to Italy!

1. We were welcomed by a very unwelcoming male employee/head receptionist. Not a smile. Did not feel very welcome. He told us were to park, and apparantly we misunderstood, and he came to our room to tell us off and showed no sign of apology or regret, that he shared the responsability. But the rest of the staff in particular the ladies cleaning the rooms and the female receptionist were very friendly and helpfull. 2. The room was very small, but fortunately we had a balcony that was spacious and with an amazing view that partly compensated for this. There was also a wonderful viem from the breakfast room and the roof terrace. 3. A very unpleasant feature was that on arrival and during the last 24 hours of our stay there was a terible stench of sewer. Awful. And on top the electricity went so there was no light and no hot water. And we received no apology for this, but when I complained during check-out we got a reduction on the price for the last night. 4. A small thing, but this was our honeymoon which we mentioned when booking the room, and nobody took notice, It would have been a small thing to mention by the staff upon our arrival.

The location of the Hotel is perfect. We stayed on the beachsite with a perfect terrace on the second floor. No noice from teh street below, super view on see. Would really recommend this hotel.

Our holiday was ruined by a Beach Rave Party on the first two nights that the staff seemed helpless to even complain to the police about. Friendly and helpful they simply shrugged their shoulders when asked to do something about the noise. Ruined what could have been a perfect holiday.

Wonderful location - right on the beach. We had a four person family room that was spotless and had plenty of space. Opened onto a wonderful terrace overlooking the water. Bathroom was small, but very clean. Adequate breakfast. Staff was friendly and knowledgable and very helpful. Quick 10 minute walk into Lerici and we took the ferry to Cinque Terre. In the Piazza Garibaldi, the main square in Lerici, there are many restaurants to choose from. Parking was convenient on the street or a small lot very close to the hotel. Beach access was directly across from the hotel. Overall very pleased with our stay and if our travels take us back to the area we will stay there again.

Like an "everyman's Amalfi" with beautiful beach, views, nice town and nearby sights. Limitations are "seaside quality" vs. big city multi-star amenities, bathroom quality etc. We are recommending to friends. Helpful staff both front desk and breakfast. Town a pleasure to stroll and dine.

The double room I was allocated would have rather small for two sharing but as a single traveller it was fine.

after visiting lerici many times for day trips, we always said we would treat ourselves and stay in a hotel for a few nights. i'm glad we chose venere azzura, the location and view absolutely worth the price of our stay. as we have two children, we requested a quad room and actually got a suite, comprising of two double bedrooms sharing one bathroom. the rooms were very clean and the staff very helpful. we'll definately be back!

The bathroom was exceptionally small and need to be updated. Customer service was exceptional. They should make front desk available to bring luggage up to your room.

The bathroom was terrible: very small, very old and not properly cleaned. The shower has a plastic curtain. Absolutely to improve.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! It is located next to a small 2-lane road, only 3 or 4 other hotels, and right on the sea with a beautiful view! It is about a 10-minute walk to Lerici, which is ideal because you deal with very little noise or traffic. There is a ferry to Cinque Terre as soon as you enter Lerici, along with many restaurants & shops, banks, a post office, a grocery store, etc. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean. The only complaints were that the staff never swept our floor when they cleaned and the shower drain was somewhat blocked causing water to occasionally overflow onto the floor. Considering how much we loved the other aspects of our hotel, these things were minor issues that could be easily overlooked. Breakfast selections were better than most other places we stayed-pastries, toast with jam, cold cereal, various juices, etc. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much and we would highly recommend it! We will definitely be staying here again if our travels take us back to Lerici! **As a side note, I want to recomment Pizzeria Tavola Calda 'il giogo' located on Via Petriccioli. This little restaurant has one cook & one waiter but their service is great and the food is to die for! We ate there the last 3 nights of our stay!

Nice, clean, hotel. Easy to find. Wonderful view from the seaside rooms. Rooms and bathroom extremely small even by euro standards. No english language TV offered, breakfast was nothing but breads and coffee. There was no parking or valet, the desk person simply told me to try and find a parking space on the street. The beach was across the street but the hotel guests still had to pay for an umbrella and chaises. Overall it was OK, but so small an extended stay would get tedious.

The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the town center overlooking a beautiful sandy beach which is cleaned daily. Excellent location for ferry to the "cinque terre". Hotel rooms and facilities very good, only drawback is the very small shower.

Lerici is a beautiful coastal town off the beaten path. The bus ride from the La Spezia train station is about 35 minutes, take it to the end of the line and you'll be in for a treat. Our room was small and bare but what a view! Breakfast was good. Ask for a cappacino and they will make one for you.

This is a good hotel across the street from a popular beach. The room that we had was on the second floor, with a good sized balcony. However, the room was smaller than the one pictured on the web page. This room probably corresponds to the third floor, which has larger rooms but smaller balconies. First floor rooms lack balconies but are said to be the largest. There is also a larger "apartment" on the roof. Employees were friendly and helpful, room was clean, breakfast was good, price was reasonable. Would stay there again.

Even though Lerici was a beautiful location we were so surprised that the accomodations with respect to the bathrooms were so very small. The bath didn't have a separate shower....it simply had a shower head coming out the wall with a shower curtain. It's time for this facility to update. The breakfast did have fresh coffee, everything else was in a plastic package of some sort, not exactly appetizing. Will not stay there again on our next visit.

Lerici was the most beautiful part of our stay and would recommend the town and the hotel to anyone. The photo on the internet actually does not show how nice the hotel actually is and we were pleasantly surprised that it was even nicer than the photos posted on the website were. Rooms were v clean, hotel staff actully helped us boost our rental car after the battery died and would not take any form of payment for this. V gracious ppl. Roof top patio is beautiful, great view of bay. Would stay again ABSOUTELTY.
