The room was clean, spacious (actually, we had a whole apartment for the two of us) and quiet, the beds comfortable and the hotel personnel was very professional and friendly. The breakfast buffet was very nice, too. The big draw back was the building itself: it is one of those building blocks put together from pre-fabricated concrete during the communist times. Horrible shoddy stuff. If you don't mind that, go for it! You'll sleep very well.

Good position, close to city center (you can reach that in 15 min by walk). Good Breakfast. The room was clean and broad. Some employee do not speak English

How to reach Mark Hotel Garni

By car
Take motorway A14, exit at Leipzig Mitte along Neuer Messe. Follow the signs on the B2 in direction of Gera/Chemnitz. Drive over the steel bridge called Brandenburger Straße. After 1,5 km/0.93 miles you will reach the Gerichtsweg. The hotel is situated on the right-hand side.

By train
Once arrived at the main station, get onto tram line 4 (heading for Stötteritz) or 7 (in direction of Sommerfeld). Step off the tram at the third station called Gerichtsweg. You will find the hotel on the right-hand side.

By airplane
Once arrived at the Halle/Leipzig airport, take the train to the main station of Leipzig. The journey time is approximately 15 minutes. At the main train station, take tram line 4 (heading for Stötteritz) or 7 (in direction of Sommerfeld). Get off the tram at the third station called Gerichtsweg. You will find the hotel on the right-hand side.
