A comfortable Hotel with very nice staff but unfortunately a long distance from the city centre. The breakfast is very good but an extra charge on top of room price. We were VERY frustrated by the odd system they had with the electronic door-locks. These never worked consistantly and would leave us stuck outside our room for ages until it finally worked. These locks are on the room doors and also the door leading in from the street you need to access when arriving back at night.
How to reach Hotel Berlin
By car
From the highway A9 take the exit Leipzig West and proceed along Merseburger Landstraße in direction of the city centre. Go straight ahead until you reach the Oper/Gewandhaus. There you have to turn left into Pragerstraße. At Ostplatz turn left into Oststraße. Finally, turn right after about 500 metres into Riebeckstraße.
From the highway A14 take the exit Leipzig Nordost/Taucha and proceed along Torgauerstraße. Continue in direction of the city centre until you reach Breitestraße. There you have to turn left.
By train
From Leipzig main railway station take tram line 4 in direction of Stötteritz and get off at Riebeck-/Oststraße or Stötteritzerstraße.
By airplane
Leipzig airport is situated about 20 km from the property and well connected to the main railway station by train.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in: the rooms are available at anytime from noon.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the rooms not later than 11 a.m.
The reception is open from 6:30 a.m. until 11 p.m. Guests arriving later than 11 p.m. should contact the hotel in advance to arrange check-in.
