The hotel is located a bit outside the center (10-15 min on a tram) but there are a few nice bars and restaurants just around the corner, especially a very German one with a very nice garden, and one really gets a feel for the 'real Leipzig'. Staff was friendly. Room not entirely thought through (details such as curtain not big enough to cover all of window, light bulb too big for lamp etc). The breakfast was OK, all one needed but no extras. Cheap Wi-Fi Internet connection in the rooms. Seemed to be close to a large park (did not have time to check it out). All and all reasonable value for money.

How to reach Flair-Hotel Alt Connewitz
By car
From highway A14: take exit 17 (Leipzig Mitte) and proceed in direction of the city centre. Take the federal road B2 in direction of Gera/Chemnitz until the exit Connewitz - Wildpark.
From highway A9: take exit 18 (Leipzig West), proceed in direction of the city centre and follow the above mentioned indications.
By train
From the main train station (about 5 km away) take the tram and get off at Pfeffinger Straße.
By airplane
Leipzig airport is situated about 22 km from the property and well connected to the main train station.
