Un hotel accogliente e ben posizionato,la camera aveva vista lago, era grande e pulita. Lo staff e' competente ed il prezzo per il soggiorno buono.Tornero' sicuramente!

Old Hotel, not a 3 star.Difficulty in communicating, receptionist could not speak English but was pleasant.No airconditioning in rooms- fans only. bathroom very small, rooms face the street, extremely noisy during the day and night due to traffic and people gathering in the opposite park . Breakfast was paltry and left overs were re-used the next day. The afternoon recptionist spoke little English and was preocuppied with watching TV and when asked for directions kept saying to go to the centre of town, but could not give directions how to get there. Parking was good just outside the hotel, however sufficient for three cars only.Would not recommend

The hotel was great, quite central and right at the lake- there's a lovely little restaurant with a view over the lake opposite. The room was very nice, with a little balcony, but it was noisy. The only thing that was poor was the breakfast.

Lecco is an excellent base from which to explore the region. Particularly if your on a budget as evening meals are very reasonable in the local restaurants. Great public transport links especially once the ferry starts running to Lecco at the end of May. Regarding the Giordano only one negative and thats noise. Its on a busy road and despite metal blinds it is in great need of good double glazing. Its like the windows just are not there! We were on the second floor with a flat above who went to bed late and got up early! Apart from that the room was clean with plenty of space, nice bathroom with a proper bath, staff were friendly but only one had any English (we got buy with our limited Italian). Breakfeast was fine and location is good for the Ferry, Buses to Como and the Station for Bergamo and Milan. All in all if you take your ear plugs (or opt for a room at the back without a lake view on the 1st floor) you will be fine!

By car
From Milan, take the SS 536 National Road and take the exit Lecco Centro (Lecco city center), you will find 3 roundabouts: go straight. Then you will find a traffic light, go straight and take the first street on your left. At the end of the street, make a right turn and then take the first street on your left. You will reach the lake shore. The hotel is located in front of the lake.
