The room was pleasant but small. Had to change from initial room because tub leaked all over floor. Safes were not anchored to cabinet so anyone could pick it up and carry it away. My sun in law carried the safe downstairs so it could be fixed. The bar was nice. Location good. It would have been nice to have wash cloths in the room.

The Patria Palace Hotel was an excellent establishment in the heart of Lecce. Friendly and helpful staff directed us to local sights. The room was beautiful and overlooked the square, highly recommended! Dean Koepp

For those who are sensitive to noise and plan to use the hotel in the coming weeks/months, I would suggest them to check if the pavement work outside (involving at times heavy machinery starting around 8pm?) has completed or not; or if a room away from the street is available. Personally, I'd not been bothered too much by the noise, and the hotel is quite ok, though a bit expensive, compared to hotels in other towns/cities in Italy, in general.

The hotel offers 67 double standard, double superior and double deluxe bedrooms, each of them finely decorated with precious 19th century furniture.All of the rooms feature direct dial phone, air conditioning, private bathroom, safe, hairdryer, mini bar, satellite TV, heating and free Internet connection via cable and Wi-Fi. Some of the rooms have facilities for disabled guests.
Deluxe rooms overlook the Basilica, while Superior rooms have a private terrace overlooking the Basilica and the historical centre.
