Hotel Tirreno - Cavi, Lavagna

The staff was very helpful and after checking out we had a problem with travelling on the highway and they let us the facilities until we managed to do arrangements.

City not exceptional snow conditions but very valid for 5 terre and portofino excellent ... strategic

I will never come back to this hotel, even for free!!

This hotel was full of very old people who would probably be satisfied with what is available. The reception was manned by a man that spoke no English and seemed to 'dislike' English people. The picture on the web gives the impression that the hotel is on the sea front, when in fact it is at the end of a road off the sea front, and the sea front is behind the main railway line. The price quoted when I booked was 150€ for B&B but I was asked to pay an extra 20€ for breakfast. The room next to ours housed a man who was deaf and shouted at the TV all the time. When we went to look at the resturaunt we found 'dog mess' on the floor. The bathroom was in need of a complete refurb as the towel rail was hanging of the wall. The shower was tray was smaller than the area covered by the curtain and there was a filthy rubber mat on the floor of the shower tray. The 'towels' were not terry towels but some sort of sheeting. The hand rail on the balcony was very rusty and loose. (we were on the 3rd floor). One of the twin beds sloped towards the edge making it almost impossible to sleep without the feeling of falling out of bed all the time. All in all we were glad to leave this hotel.

Siamo stati benessimo. La stanza spaziosa e silenziosa con vista sul mare. Accoglienza fantastica. Rapporto qualità prezzo "Ottimo". Grazie Venere.

Camere rumorose, bagno sporco, adette alle pulizie che urlano alle 6.00 in corridoio ed entrano senza bussare...Molto caro x il servizio ottenuto. No quiet rooms, bathroom not cleaned well, cleaning staff yelling at 6 am and entring the room without warnig. Very expensive for what you get.

I will never return again in this hotel

Staff only speaks italian. Arrival in the middle of the afternoon and staff was taking a rest (had to wait for almost hour). Asked for parking in reservation but when we arrived none were available. There is only one kind of plugs (basic ones) and there are no adaptors available. Apart from that, staff is nice and treat people well. Recommendation for people above 50/60 (age of most of the guests).

A very overpriced hotel for the quality. I have heard of giving a hotel stars for it's location, but to give this hotel 3 stars for location is crazy because it deffinately does not receive any of the stars for services ro quality. AVOID unless the only other option is the street. And then only if you can't sleep in your car.
