Hotel Restaurant Schuetzen Lautrbrunnen - Lauterbrunnen

Be prepared it's expensive to eat or do anything really in Switzerland. The main waterfall near the hotel is amazing but be prepared to walk up and end up under the fall and not see the fall. The triple waterfalls that are further into the valley is a fair walk but saves time driving if you have wheels. It does shutnat 6pm. Get there Daley. Train car rid to top peaks is super expensive and like on the night we stayed a storm hit and who ever paid to go up would have wasted 100s of dollars AUD. Otherwise hotel service was super. Small town, picturesque and good for long walks.

The mattress was made of heavy duty foam - it was Great I loved it!! had my niffy flat screen tv with channels representing many languages and had a wifi connection. Didn't hear a peep from another room at any time. What's not to love?

We stayed in room 20, it has a balcony and a great view of the waterfalls. You can overlook a few rough edges in a hotel with a view like that.

Stunning Views! How can that be an understatement, and yet does not seem to do justice to the literal mouth dropping, breathtaking beauty of this valley setting. The Hotel itself is idyllic with plenty of local swiss charm, friendly, helpful english speaking staff, and great accomodations in spotless comfortable room. Loved it! Will go back.
