Hotel Bellerive - Lausanne

Very nice stay, easy use of provided pass on the public transport network, no need to use own car. But, with the high rae of change, becomes a rather luxury place for Euro holders!

Very pleasant hotel, an easy bus ride from the train station. Well informed and helpful staff with good english. A huge plus was the complimentary transport pass for the duration of our stay. Great! Pay the extra money to get a lake view room with jaw dropping views over Lake Geneva to the alps. Highly recommended

Parking is more limited than their website led me to believe. If you don't need parking, then there is no problem. There are only a couple of restaurants close by to the hotel, but they were good. It was very easy to walk down the hill behind the hotel and get to the lake with it's miles of walking paths.

Useful address at reasonable price. The price first quoted was for a room fronting a very busy road.For a surcharge of sFr35 we changed to a quiet room wi.view of the lake. Rooms are attractice, gen. areas less. Easy and free parking, good value.

This was a good hotel. It is especially safe for women traveling alone. Easy to take the bus to central station and to center of the city. If you like to walk it's close to Ouchy. Breakfast is excellent. I would definitely choose it again. The sauna and steam were great!

The Bellerive is in a very good location for easy access to Lake Leman. The free bus network can be used to reach the centre of Lausanne. Walking to the centre will take about 20 minutes.

I was travelling with my wife and I have no hesitation in reccommending the Bellrive. We stayed for three nights found the hotel to be quiet and had a good breakfast each morning. If you are travelling by public transport,as we were, you need change for the bus(5.40chf for the machine at the bus stop). Once at the hotel you are given a free bus pass for the rest of your stay.

A nice hotel but a little far from the center of town which is not obvious from maps. Having said that bus into the center runs every 7 minutes and is excellent and there is free parking provided. Breakfast was really good. We planned to use the gym but the cleaning rota didn't allow morning use before 9:30am so was basically unavailable. WIFI is available in hotel but does not work on upper floors. There is, however, a library and reception area which can be used.

Everything about hotel Bellerive was excellent, lovely rooms, everything you could need, very nice staff esp the breakfast girls,who provided a great breakfast to start the day.the girl at reception was really helpful in organising taxis for us as there was five of us.so overall we had a brilliant stay in this hotel

Enjoyed this hotel. Not too big so had a comfy feel to it. The staff were very helpful. We based ourselves here for 5 nights and travelled around. The hotel helped add to a great holiday.

We stayed one night,in transit to Venice. Clean room, helpful staff. We had a lakeview room, which was nice. We took a taxi from the train station, but the bus would have worked fine.

The doors lock on the inside and outside only with the key, and the hotel's exterior door requires a key (on the same ring) after hours. If those sharing a room are split (one in the room, one out of the hotel), one can end up locked in a room, creating a fire hazard. A second suggestion would be to improve the internet access provided in the lounge. Overall our stay was great; the hotel was easy to find and well situated for our interests. The staff was excellent -- very friendly and helpful.

All personnel were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful and we found it very convenient with buses nearby. The train station was only 20 mins walk or a short bus ride.

The hotel had a beautiful view of the lake!

Having ridden by motorbike from London we were rewarded with a comfortable room with a good view of the lake. A cosy and friendly hotel was exactly what we wanted for our short stay allowing us to quickly use the facilities and carry on our journey. The bar next door kindly made us a late night pizza and we met some great locals. Paying a little extra for the glorious views in the morning was well worth the expense.

Switzerland is expensive! the whole of it!

It's worth staying here just to ride in the tiny wooden lift. More seriously, the staff were extraordinarily helpful & pleasant. We had some noise from an adjacent room but overall this is very good value. 15 minutes on foot to the central railway station. Good nearby restaurants, especially straight down the hill.

This was a great hotel and a great room. The bathroom was HUGE. It had a small bistrot table with 2 chairs in it. The staff was welcoming and very friendly. The area very quiet. But it is a hike to get to the old town. Unless you take the tram, not too far or you have a car. We had a car and the parking was free as opposed to all the other hotels we stayed in where the parking was remote and very pricey. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice place, but too noisy night and day, cause to the proximity of the road.

The room was great-spaceous and clean. The largest bathroom we saw in all of our stays. AWESOME view on the back side of Lake Geneva. Staff was courtious and went out of the way to help with finding ferries, trains and coffee! Great breakfast and Bar. Could not have been more satisfied!!!
