We were given the wrong room at first, by a lady who did not ask our name! After someone else was given a key to the same room, the mistake was realised, and we were given a much better room, as the first one had not been of such good quality, in an annexe. After that, it was up to expectations. Langres was a nice town, and had a good selection of hotels with restaurants open, even on a Monday night, which does not always happen in France.

Comfortable, friendly hotel in centre of beautifully preserved/restored hill-top fortified town. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Unhelpful and unfriendly staff. Suite was nice and hotel okay but let down by the owner. Breakfast was a disgrace with no clean tables available and having to find staff elsewhere in the hotel to refresh bread basket and orange juice.
