Hotel Steiner - Laives

nice clean hotel but staff did n't give any personel touches it was a case of here are the keys and that is your room.shame really

We chose this hotel because we were going to Nova Levante and this was the closest city with a fair priced hotel. Good points is that it´s very easy to find and staff (at the reception) speaks good english. The room was not bad, but it was in a different house, apart from the main building. We had to climb stairs again. The suroundings are lovely, but we ended up finding out there are plenty of acommodation options in Nova Levante itself (what gives you a much more "I´m in Austria" feeling - they just seem to have not found out about the marvelous of internet yet...

The restaurant was closed on Mondays. The web page did not inform about this

We booked it just for a night, after a 10 hour trip, so it was OK. Rooms are 20-30 years not renewed, service is well, rooms located to public road are very noisy. Price / Service ratio is low. Overall I would rate it to 2 on scale from 1 to 10 (higher is better).

A VERY GOOD CLEAN HOTEL EXCEPT THE BATHROOM WHICH SMELLED.

The Hotel was easy to find right on the main street. The staff was friendly. The single room was not much bigger than the bed. The double rooms in the annex too close to the camp ground and very noisy at night. However it was a pleasant place to spend one night and move on.

A perfect location,in the Center of Laives..but not in the Center!In the middle of the Bolzano-Sud Tyrol Valley and the un-spoiled Surroundings..with theirs Architectural Piece of Arts,Cultures,Events&Related..."refreshed" by the quiet Hotel's Swimming Pool..The kitchen is very good!All the Services are available in Town,closed to the Hotel Steiner.

This was a very nice hotel, we used it as a stopover between Holland and the south of Italy. It is situated along a busy road,however,we had a room at the back. The rooms itself are not very large but very clean with a modern bathroom. There is ample parking space behind the hotel; they serve an excellent buffet breakfast. Excellent pizza in town (walking 5 minutes). We would definitely go to this hotel again.
