Hotel Vila Galé Lagos - Lagos

It was off season but the hotel service was excellent considering the small number of guests. It is a lovely facility though away from the main part of Lagos. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyonel

I travelled with my 18 yrs old daughter in early June 2010. We booked 2 nights, then added an xtra one because we liked the place so much. It is nice, quiet, the pool is amazing, one of the nicest beach of Lagos is within walking distance. To get to town, you can use the very affordable local bus or a taxi (only option at night). Not a "party" hotel, it welcomes young couples, young families and mature adults. We loved it and I highly recommend Vila Gale if you are looking for a really nice and quiet hotel, away from the busy night life of Lagos.

There was always a long wait for taxis. Hotel receptionist were very slow as were pool bar staff. Bar service was slow due to insufficient staff. Poll area is excellent. corridors are too dark. Breakfast was very good.

Excelentes instalaciones, lo único malo es que había mucha gente casi todo familias con niños pequeños con lo que había bastante barullo en la zona de piscina. El servicio lento incluso muy lento, por ejemplo, en el bar de la piscina aunque la calidad de la comida es buena. Lo recomiendo a todo el mundo sobretodo por la calidad-precio.

Brochure claims all rooms have sea view, they don't, but rooms without sea view are quieter. Spa pool allows children in which reduces its relaxation potential somewhat! Tip: Go to beach bars opposite hotel for excellent lunch/dinner. Overall, very high quality hotel which has excellcent facilities especially for young families. We loved it, but it will be like a school holiday camp in the summer break! great if you have kids.
