This is an excellent small hotel. There is a very wide range of foods available at the breakfast buffet and the outside terrace is a terrific location for alfresco dining. The only fault - and this is really nitpicking-is that the directions to the hotel from Venere are completely useless. Phone or email the hotel if you want to get there at the first attempt

Das Hotel ist schön, leider etwas anonym. Von den Zimmern unterhalb d Speisesaals ist abzuraten, sie sind laut. Das Frühstücksbuffet wird nicht nachgefüllt, was weg ist ist weg. Die Ansprechpartner wirken nicht sehr kompetent, als wir verlängern wollten, wurde uns erst ein falscher Preis für das Zimmer genannt.

High above the town of Lagos and far removed from the noise and bustle, yet a short drive from all the fun and action. Great to return to for a nightcap on the terrace after a fun filled evening in the town, knowing no intrusive loud music or barking dogs would disturb your sleep. Pool and gardens excellent - will certainly return. Directions given to hotel location could be improved with a little more thought !! 1st Hotel sign + Falferia sign turn right.Proceed uphill then down steep hill then up steep hill until 2nd hotel sign - turn right. Hiring a car is a must, a small price to pay for the benefits of the hotel's location

The hotel was great and the staff very welcoming. The swimming pool is a bit cold to use in November and there weren't many people there either. The views were fantastic and the accomodation extremely well funrnished. We did have a problem with the alarm whilst we were there. The rain knocked out the power adn the alarm sounded all night which was very annoying. However they were very apologetic and provided us with some wine. All in all a great place to stay. It is quiet and a good distance out of Lagos but the taxis are only 5euro so it's not a problem in the evenings.

Excellent hotel with excellent employees. Buffet in the morning is wonderfull. A car is needed to access town center and beaches but it's good like. Quiet and beautifull place ....

Excellent hotel for convenient price, if you don't like the big hotels with numerous guests. Excellent breakfast, swim.pool and solarium. Nice and kind all the staff with personal attitude!

Monte d'Oiro is really an very special and exclusive hotel. It surpassed even our expectations. Relation price/quality is okay. The panoramic view is over the mountains and not, as suggested at the webside, across Lagos Bay. But it's beautiful too. Nobody has drawn our attention to the winecellar. We did not visit it. Conclusion: we had a very pleasant stay.

We had a fantastic stay and would recommend the Hotel to friends and family. Our stay was unfortunately cut short due to my boyfriend receiving v bad news from NZ. The Hotel staff were very helpful and considerate.
