Hotel Costa D’oiro Ambiance Village - Lagos

Good rooms, good breakfast.

Staff was extremely helpful and nice. The room and bathroom offered plenty of space. The breakfast could not have been better - large variety of foods and fruits. The beaches in the surrounding area are the best Portugal has to offer. The only negative thing I can say is the surrounding area is in different levels of development, so it was somewhat messy. But we were there to see the beaches, so this was no bother to us.

El único punto negativo es que algunas habitaciones no disponían de persianas ni cortinas oscuras, por lo que entraba mucha claridad por la mañana temprano. Por lo demás todo perfecto.

Was a little bit far from the center of the city and not much selection in regards to restaurants other than the hotel restaurant. Close proximity to pretty beaches though.

The hotel is wonderfull and Lagos is a nice town the beachs and viewpoint near the hotel are the best natural beauty of Lagos and the place is very quiet

Great resort area but not much else in area.

My brother booked this for us as we where going to a wedding.i love the hotel.the cleaner done an exellent job.will be telling my friends.

As this was my third time staying here this time was one of our best,the cleaning staff done an outstanding job cleaning the room and outside arround the pool.

A very nice hotel where we spend a most pleasant week. But i would not recomend the half pension option as it is MORE expensive than to order directly from the nenu (it doesn't even include drinks!) and the food is not so great anyway; and the waiters are not the most friendly. Fortunetly after the first day we were abble to drop out and enjoyed or dinners in the city or by the beach :-) The two beaches close to the hotel are wonderfull

Breakfast was excellent, with great variety. You can also have a taste of typical food. Our room was in the ground floor, we had direct access to a small patio and swimming pool. There was a beautiful bougainvillea on top of our terraze. The hotel is at walking distance to the sea. There is a nice view from the top of the cliff. You can descend to a small beach by stairs.

The directions are incorrect and very misleading -- the website needs to be changed. Once there, for the price it was very nice. There was a small lizard in the room but he stayed on the ceiling and didn't bother us.

Bastante bien, buena relación calidad/precio. Mal señalizado, nos costó un poco encontrarlo. Cerca de las playas y del pueblo.

Enjoyed our stay very much.had one small problem with shower which staff resolved promply.will be using again.

No reservation when we come to the hotel !!! After discussion and insistence , they found us a room in a house( with a small swimming pool) 500 m from the hotel Costa D 'oiro. Good situation , not so far from Lagos. Nice room and house and good breakfast( at the hotel)

Everything has been perfect except the making up room timetable. Two out of the three days the room was not cleaned until 16:00h. As a result, we could not take a shower after arriving from the beach (towels were not renewed) and after lunch we were forced to go to the swimming pool in order to rest (due to the unknowing of when the room was going to be cleaned). A part from this, we must say that Algarve is amazing, and Costa D’Oiro has very comfortable facilities. If I ever go again, I will surely stay in these apartments.

This was a very lovely place to stay. Two things disappointed us though. One , we were not able to have any view of the ocean. Two, we had to drive from our room to the main building for breakfast.

It is very nice place with a completely relaxing atmosphere, very friendly and competent staff. It is a place which I can recommend to friends.

The welcome was excellent, the facilities excellent. The directions on the internet as to how to find the hotel need to be updated as they are incorrect. We will definitely be looking to come and stay again, early next year.

We had very slow service at the restaurant for dinner the night we got there. We also had a strange stinky odor in our room for most of the night we stayed there. We think it may have been because the room hadn´t been use for a while.

Poor on arrival and not even stayingin property booked. poor.
