Staff was extremely helpful and nice. The room and bathroom offered plenty of space. The breakfast could not have been better - large variety of foods and fruits. The beaches in the surrounding area are the best Portugal has to offer. The only negative thing I can say is the surrounding area is in different levels of development, so it was somewhat messy. But we were there to see the beaches, so this was no bother to us.

Was a little bit far from the center of the city and not much selection in regards to restaurants other than the hotel restaurant. Close proximity to pretty beaches though.

a very nice hotel where we spend a most pleasant week. But i would not recomend the half pension option as it is MORE expensive than to order directly from the nenu (it doesn't even include drinks!) and the food is not so great anyway; and the waiters are not the most friendly. Fortunetly after the first day we were abble to drop out and enjoyed or dinners in the city or by the beach :-) The two beaches close to the hotel are wonderfull

Breakfast was excellent, with great variety. You can also have a taste of typical food. Our room was in the ground floor, we had direct access to a small patio and swimming pool. There was a beautiful bougainvillea on top of our terraze. The hotel is at walking distance to the sea. There is a nice view from the top of the cliff. You can descend to a small beach by stairs.

The directions are incorrect and very misleading -- the website needs to be changed. Once there, for the price it was very nice. There was a small lizard in the room but he stayed on the ceiling and didn't bother us.

No reservation when we come to the hotel !!! After discussion and insistence , they found us a room in a house( with a small swimming pool) 500 m from the hotel Costa D 'oiro. Good situation , not so far from Lagos. Nice room and house and good breakfast( at the hotel)

Everything has been perfect except the making up room timetable. Two out of the three days the room was not cleaned until 16:00h. As a result, we could not take a shower after arriving from the beach (towels were not renewed) and after lunch we were forced to go to the swimming pool in order to rest (due to the unknowing of when the room was going to be cleaned). A part from this, we must say that Algarve is amazing, and Costa D’Oiro has very comfortable facilities. If I ever go again, I will surely stay in these apartments.

This was a very lovely place to stay. Two things disappointed us though. One , we were not able to have any view of the ocean. Two, we had to drive from our room to the main building for breakfast.

The welcome was excellent, the facilities excellent. The directions on the internet as to how to find the hotel need to be updated as they are incorrect. We will definitely be looking to come and stay again, early next year.

We had very slow service at the restaurant for dinner the night we got there. We also had a strange stinky odor in our room for most of the night we stayed there. We think it may have been because the room hadn´t been use for a while.

From Faro International Airport, Lisbon and the highways A2 and IC1:
Take the A22 highway towards Portimão/Lagos. After 80 km take the last exit in Lagos/Vila do Bispo. When exiting the highway, go straight until the roundabout and turn left at the second street towards Lagos. Continue straight until the next rondabout, pass the traffic lights and then pass the following rondabout (the one with the huge black ball in the centre); afterwards, turn right and follow straight untill reaching a small roundabout with a floral sculpture. Then, turn left and after right, following straight for about 150 meters. Then, turn right and follow the sings for the Costa D’oiro Ambiance Village.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in: the accommodations are available at any time after 3 p.m.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the accommodations not later than noon.
INCLUDED/NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
Use of the in-room safe is subject to an extra charge of €1,50 per day (€20,00 deposit required).
Pool access and beach towels costs €0,50 per day or €2,50 per week (€10,00 deposit required).
Airport transfers costs €70,00 each way for a maximum of 4 passengers.

Our Cancellations Policy is as follows:
