The rooms/ adjustment are in quite poor condition and I felt a bit like in a youth hostel. I had a room with large balcony to the courtyard and because of many birds it was very noisy. So do not await any comfort. You need about 15 minutes to the promenade...

We were a bit disappointed with this accomodation. The website said that we would have a room with an ocean view--little did we know that meant that we would have to walk out onto our communal balcony and turn left to see the ocean (our room looked out onto the side of a mountain-beautiful, but not what we signed on for). The walls are very thin and the windows are not sound-proofed. We had college students staying next to us for most of the stay and we could hear their conversations word for word, which kept us up at night. The positive aspects of this hotel are the friendly and helpful staff at the front desk and access to the pool on the top floor. It is also in very close proximity to the beach. All in all, we would not choose to stay at Sol e Praia again; we would look for a better accomodation in the same vicinity.

The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel.
