Hotel Alle Tamerici - Ladispoli

The best thing about the hotel is the restaurant which is Michelin standard. Our room was basic but fine. Well cleaned and fresh towels everyday. No English language TV channels got a bit boring. Also there was a constant background noise from the plumbing (although I can be a bit sensitive to noise). The garden and pool area is lovely and well maintained. The beach is literally a stone's throw (although it is black sand) and there are plenty of beach bars, cafe's and restaurants within easy walking distance (of varying quality from shabby to excellent).

Had to sit outside for wireless. Restaurant closed half hour early.

We were very pleased and I regret that couldnt stay more than one night.

The room was spacious,nicely done and very clean; the bathrooms are good sized with an excellent shower. The restaurant is excellent and with an equally excellent wine list and very friendly wait staff. The breakfast also was good. We did not use the spa facility, but it was nice to know that it was there.

Basic breakfast. Small but very fresh pool, and the hotelareas was rally nice. 1 min to the beach with clean, blue water.

On arrival at Ladispoli railway station the first problem was to find the hotel. No taxis at the station, only a list of telephone numbers for individual taxi-drivers... Fortunately the weather was nice and we had little luggage so walked to the hotel, with directional help from locals; the maps on the hotel and Venere websites being fairly hopeless. Once we had arrived at the hotel all troubles disappeared. Our checkin was very pleasant, and we had been upgraded to a bigger room, with no increase in what was a good rate. It is a lovely place - enclosed grounds with many interesting features, nice swimming pool, food and service at the restaurant were excellent, staff friendly and helpful, long sandy beach 10 (yes, ten) metres from the hotel entrance. A gripe I have is that there is no place in the beautiful grounds to play ball games; when my son and I asked for somewhere to play football we were sent down the road to a field that we never found.. Oh yes, and the swimming pool is only open when the lifeguard is present, so not open early morning or after 6pm - very strange. All in all though a very nice stay and I can fully recommend this hotel.

We found the hotel and staff to be friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and lovely. We were visiting frinds and left after breakfast each day and didn't retun until evening, so we didn't use the pool or the restaurant. The pool requires a bathing cap - I haven't seen one in a decade! The breakfast was limited but good.

The grounds were excellant, but the room and shower waassmall. The food was very good, but the menu is limited. It is walking distance (right out the front door) to the beach, but it is not a private beach. The town is near, small and quaint

Rooms were clean and well-maintained. Facilities were somewhat limited for a 4 star hotel. Grounds were well-maintained but simple. Staff was limited, only a few people at any one time. Selection of breakfast foods was limited and simple.

We chose the hotel for its proximity to Leonardo Da Vinci Airport. Its grounds were nicely secluded and swimming pool was excellently clean and well maintained as were the grounds of the gardens. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with all amenities. The award winning restaurant had a good choice of innovative dishes and good selection of wines. Staff were friendly and accommodating, enjoyed the ride on the buggy to our room with our cases. The only thing I would say was that the room we had was in a block of rooms and not the cottage style as expected and it was rather noisy at 2.00a.m. in the morning. Otherwise, well pleased with our overall stay.
