Inmitten der Natur fühlt man sich abgeschnitten vom Rest der Welt - ideal zum Abschalten, Entspannen und Erholen. Dennoch ist es nicht weit für Unternehmungen wie die Besichtigung der Salzkammern, einen Strandtag, die Erkundung reizvoller Städtchen und vieles mehr. Empfehlungen erhält man sehr freundlich von den Eigentümern dieses wunderschönen Anwesens. Ein kurzes, persönliches Gespräch, mit jedem der anwesenden Gäste rundete die herzliche Atmosphäre ab. Ein längerer Aufenthalt lohnt sich.

I really wished I had had more time to spend in this lovely area - we were only there for one night. It is a beautiful hotel - a few hundred years old and well maintained. It was certainly not a cheap hotel - and the continental breakfast was the most expensive we had on the trip. Still, the atmosphere was superb, the owners extremely helpful and we would definitely return. I even got to ride one of their bikes - first time in over 30 years!

A wonderful place to stay. Our one reservation was that dinner was not offered on a Wednesday evening unless you had signed up for half board. However, there are excellent restaurants of all kinds in the nearby La Roche Bernard

We chose this place on a trip of Western France for the evening of our 37th Wedding Anniversary. It was a disapointment as I didn't feel that the price was worth the amenities. We were given a room in the renovated barn with sloped ceilings and limited head room. The restaurant was not open as there was no cook.(we had e-mailed ahead to make a reservation and got no response.) Breakfast for the money was a disappointment at best. We live in Europe and have stayed in many accomodations. We would not recommend this place and had better lodgings at 2 star hotels later on the trip!
