Hotel Marc Hely - La Colle-sur-Loup

very beautiful view, clean room, quietness, comfortable stay but no lift.

The Marc-Hely is a fantastic find, though the whole location of the Riviera may not be for everyone. Adrian and Chrystal were most wonderful, friendly, charming and helpful hotelkeepers, making this more like a bed and breakfast. The view is terrific. We didn't get to use the pool, too cold in mid-May. We didn't meet other guests, but they were generally older (even than us) or single sex couples. One needs a car to see the area, but driving may not be fun due to traffic. If that doesn't faze you, come on and enjoy this place. We did.

Fantastic view, excellent welcoming, nice bedroom and bathroom. Very recommended.

We stayed two nights and it was really a very good choice - bus stop to St. Paul and Vence just in front of hotel.

The hotel really charming ant the young couple who are there really gentle, and give us a lot of information about places to go. If we come back France, we will go to the same hotel.

Me, my wife and my 16 year old son greatly enjoyed our stay at Marc-Hely. The hotel itself is small and cozy, and it is family oriented. We occupied a suite on the second floor, the room was spacious, comfortable, and came with a stunning view of the French countryside. The towels and bed sheets were crisp and clean, and the bathrooms were spotless. The hotel is located conveniently near the A8 highway. The owners of the hotel are a young, lovely couple who are English-speaking and are very helpful. This hotel is very highly recommended to anyone traveling to the South of France.

We were a family of 4 with 2 young adult children and the suite with 2 twin beds & other bedroom with a king was so lovely (just redone with all new carpet, bedding, bathrooms, etc), and such a nice couple running the hotel - always available to help with recommendations & directions, plus a very nice pool!!

We stayed at the Mark Hely to visit the old city at St Paul de Vence. It is quite far from there (too far to walk), but provides excellent views from the balconies. We enjoyed the kettle and tea/coffee in the rooms. Quiet and friendly and quite easy to find. We didn't attempt the breakfast - 10 Euro too much for continental? Highly recommended overall.

This is the first time my wife and I have stayed at the Marc Hely. While the decor is a little dated the room is quite comfortable especially the bed. It also had a reasonable sized bathroom (no bath - shower cubicle). Staff were friendly and knowledgable of the area and were happy to recommend suitable restaurants all within a 10Km raduis of the hotel. The downside was that it didn't have a restaurant although it has space for one. Overall if you want a quiet place to stay which is central to the area I would recommend this hotel.

We thought our accommodation at Marc-Hely was simple, clean,comfortable and very peaceful with attention to detail in presentation and overall better than anticipated. The host was very hospitable and the position such that with a car many great day trips would be possible from there. We did have trouble actually locating it initially and felt that breakfast was questionable value. The local village where we ate at night though small was delightful.

Truly lovely 3-star hotel - very good value, cordial staff, excellent location!

Day visits to St Paul de Vence and Monte Carlo. The hotel was virtually empty - understanable since it was early January. The friendly and hellpfull staff made us feel comfortable and at home

I found the Hotel to be excellent, the location was also excellent. Without even asking, a double bed was replaced with two twins, the bathroom was particularly good. Breakfast was very good, much better than a similar breakfast offered at the same price in Provence. The advice given on local restaurants was spot on, as were directions to Monaco, Nice (Airport) and other locations. We are planning to visit again and will stay again.

This is a wonderful place to stay. It was close to everything that we need. Has many excellent restaurants in the area. The staff was very helpful, would go back again.

This was a very pleasant small family run hotel. Directions to the hotel were accurate. La Colle sur Loup was quiet, particularly in the evening, but having a hire car we found plenty of places to eat across the valley in St Paul de Vence.

Bonjour, Satisfaction et repose dans cet hotel au cadre sympathique. Seul bémol quand on appelle en direct, l'accueil à tendance à ne pas vous proposer les chambres les moins chères mêmes si elles sont disponibles !

Breakfast very expensive

A really lovely hotel which pleasantly surprised us with good value and very high standards. Great place to stay because only a car ride away from mountains, beaches, St P de V and so on and yet without paying the premium for staying in any of them. We loved it, stayed an extra night and we're going back in October.

al termine del soggiorno è stata addebitata una tassa di soggiorno che non era riportata nè sul sito nè sulla tabella in camera. La Tv satellitare prende solo la BBC oltre ai canali francesi. Nel complesso però il soggiorno è stato ottimo.
