La Ciotat is a nice seaside resort on the Mediterranean sea, where you will find two calanques (deep creeks), Figuerolles and Mugel, a splendid botanical garden and a magnificent wooded island, Ile Verte. The Bay of La Ciotat, also named Golfe d'Amour, offers more than 4 miles of beaches. The city, which is also the birthplace of Cinema, thanks to the famous Lumière Brothers, as well as of the very popular Pétanque game, boasts a picturesque historic center.

No services available : just romm + breakfast; no additional possibilities offers like :drink, little restauration, fresh bar for an area where th temperature is high; no possibility to refresh the pack for a "glaciere"..... This hotel is mark with 2 stars; normally maximum 1 star will be relevant

Staff is leaving over night. Car were not well parked and this limits the access. Private park is a good point. Small beach near hotel is very interesting.

However with a car one requires above- average driving skills to negotiate the unorthordox driveway. All in all worth another visit.

it's not as luxuary that it seems on the web page. There's no restaurant but it's quiet and plaisant, the view on the sea is very nice.

The hotel was fine but difficult to find good view of coastline would be good place to stay if beach was important. Breakfast was lovely on the terrace.Nearby St Cyr sur mer port was good for restaurants

The nearest TGV (high speed train) station is Marseille Saint-Charles. From there, you can take a local train until La Ciotat train station.
