Hotel Wentzl - Krakow

This is a beautiful hotel in a wonderful location.

Quite an expenive hotel, but worth every penny. The experience was magnificent, the location sublime and the staff exceptional. I cannot recall the name of the lady on hotel reception when we arrived, wish I could - but she helped us with concert bookings and was most welcoming. A super hotel. The only negative was the noise of a trumpet at 1 - 2 am one night - not in the hote, but from somewhere outside.

I evaluate Wentzl with my highest score. During our stay as our 25 year's anniversary, my wife and I were very pleasant and so impressed to see every consideration of courtesy and carefulness was extended thoroughly to all the corners of the hotel service to entertain their guests. Welcome champagne bottle and beautiful flower arrangement in the room were just a part of it. Our room was No.35 with traditional coordinates (but nothing worn out) as we requested. Bathroom with bathtub was spacious and very clean and modern. Window's view was splendid because we could immediately look down with bird's eye view of the lovely old town market place covered with light snow. Breakfast was self-service for cold meals but they courteously asked us order for hot dishes, and it was nice. When we departed around 6 o'clock in the morning we knew it was too early for the hotel breakfast, but they kindly prepared for us box sandwiches with fruits and yogurt for free. Additionally, a newly equipped lift was helpful to bring luggage to upstairs. I recommend Wentzl for all visitors to Kracow, especially who like to enjoy traditional and composure circumstances with service of first class care and thoughtfulness.

Perfect location - the only hotel actually on Market Square. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The bedroom was very spacious, with lofty ceiling (1st fl).

Lovely hotel, wonderful room with best view in Krakow, very helpful and efficient staff at all levels. A truly excellent experience I would recommend to anyone. On the minus side, the hotel lacked a residents lounge and bar, which was galling because the weather was poor.

Fabulous hotel in fabulous city. Our room faced the square and was on top floor with a small balcony. Room recently renovated to great standard. Dining room very elegant for breakfast but very pricey at night-however no shortage of great less expensive restaurants nearby. We've stayed in some great hotels and this is up with the best.

Expect to come back to Krakow again, and to stay at the Hotel Wentzl

I stayed there for night with my family and parents. Everyone stay comfortable and spend very nice time. this hotel is best for family with children or old aged person because the place is very nice and the room is also modern and their service is very well. I will stay there again.

VERY NICE ROOM. VERY CONVENIENT POSITION. FOUND STAFF ON RECEPTION VERY HELPFUL, STAFF IN MORNING BREAKFAST ROOM VERY SURLY, BUT DINNER IN THE EVENING WAS SURBERB.
